Thread: Who is more intimidated?

What do you think? Do you think that the jedi are more intimidated by the Bounty Hunters, or the Bounty Hunters are more intimidated by the Jedi?
I see it as a 50-50 split. You always see in Jedi Guides that you should "never wear your robes in public", or "don't show your saber to anyone". While the Bounty Hunters do whatever they can to avoid close combat with Jedi.
Is it Intimidation? Fear? Respect? Meybe a combination of all three. I believeit adds extra fun and roleplaying oppritunities to the game, as well as a more challenging experience.

The non-full template Jedi are definately intimidated. They have everything to lose, and the BH has everything to gain by fighting.

Bounty Hunters can't really be intimidated by the Jedi since we are the ones who initiate the combat. Barring GCW PvP, BHs can choose to never, ever fight a Jedi if they don't want to. The Jedi has the same thing, but since most Jedi group for XP and then cry later when a BH comes after them, generally the Jedi is the more intimidated.
Hell, if you're a regular player who happens to come across a group of Jedi grinding, you can expect "Who are you here for?!" tells. Some might even run.

The whole playerbase is intimidated by Jedi. Thats why PvP is all but dead.

if the 'whole playerbase' was intimidated by Jedi then noob Jedi Padawans would not be getting SQUISHED on an hourly basis.
i myself have already lost over 3/4 of a million Jedi XP
BELIEVE ME when itell you the Master Bounty Hunters / Master Riflemen / Pistoleer 0044sthat killed me off in 4-6 shots were NOT intimidated by me... not in the least. i am willing to bet they didn't even get the PvP 'rush' from it. kill was way too easy

I'm speaking about more of two equally matched opponents...wait...is there such a thing as an equally matched Jedi and BH?

I had a funny experience where I was grinding with a Jedi guildie and I saw 2 known bounty hunters there. I went out to check them out and see if they were here hunting my guildmate (I am a MBH too). The response I got when I arrived was "Who are you hear for... I will pay their bounty... I will duel you for his life." I disapointed myself that day... I should have lied and taken the money, but I laughed and rode off instead. Everyone is paranoid.

wasn't laughing at you. it is a legit question, and one does really have to wonder who is more intimidated with most of the full template bounty hunters going after 80k-130k Jedi
that having been said...look at the wide spread panic in the Jedi forum right now. the 'Jedi Love Patch' has nerfed Healer and Defender so greatly that people are in an uproar.... the tide may very well be turning

Its funny you should mention this template, considering that template does have Intimidate.

Thats called smart tactics. SWAT teams don't put on body armor for show ya know.
