Thread: BH Unite Chat Channel! (Corbantis) Kash solution?

Greetings Bounty Hunters of Corbantis!
In the coming week, I will be experimenting with a new chat channel specifically designed for Bounty Hunters on the Corbantis server. The greatest reason for creating this channel will be for Bounty Hunters to stay organized and informed when hunting Jedi on Kash. For example, when I run all the instances of Kash's Ryatt Trail (Webweaver Path) currently, I always leave with a list of 40-50 jedi who are grinding there.The afk grinding and is out of control in Kash (as we constantly read) and if Bounty Hunters will unite on this simply by sharing information on a server-wide scale we can create serious headaches for Jedi and make a few bucks in the process. I just started hunting on the Ryatt Trail and have killed 12 afk jedi in the past 48 hours. Also, we can help train Bounty Hunter who currently do not know how torun the Ryatt Trail to find these Kash marks.
The channel will not be limited for this purpose and can be used to help locate Jedi anywhere in the universe. Also, this channel will give us a good opportunity to get to know our fellowBounty Hunters.
*This post is not for people to flame and criticize the potential problems of this chat channel, because I realize some potential hang-ups with this channel. However I also believe that if I can moderate this channel properly and maintain it, we can have a Bounty Hunter chat channel that is a great asset to any BH on Corbantis. Also, this post is not for Jedi, so please Jedi do not respond to this. I am aware that you all do not afk grind but that doesn't mean we don't want to kill you

*If you are a Corbantis Bounty Hunter and are interested in joining this new channel I need the following information from you either posted on this thread or send me an in-game email so that I can do background checks. I will seek to keep spies out of the channel. Also, I am in the guild Shadow Stalkers (all BH guild), therefore I will likely have astrong base of BHers to start the channel.

2) Current Guild
3) Alternate Character Names

fyi, there are guys on Shadowfire that have something similar that is public. VERY BAD IDEA. If at all possible make it private and moderated.
*I know this is probably already being thought of, just wanted to restate the obivious for this and any other bh chat channel*

Hmmm, nice idea, but it's plenty Jedi not on kash to hunt, I don't need the easy kill. Yes It's wayyyyyyyyyyy out of control. BUt when publish 20 hits they'll want to grind with their friends on dant, yavin, etc. And something everyone isn't thinking about, if group visibility is broken, and doen't work as intended , and hundreds of low level paddy''s get on the terminals. Guess what's gonna happen ?? Terminals will probably be turned off until they fix it, lol.

The server is not exclusively for Kash Jedi; that will just be one use for it.
The server will likely evolve in use over the upcoming publishes. We were up and running last night discussing temps, BH strategies, tracking jedi, and getting to know one another. I"m sure the server will also be handy to have when everyone is testing out the next publish. All is going well so far. We will see how it goes in the coming weeks. A server has been purchased so the sound quality is excellent.
