I've always had 2 master templates. I've been contemplating MBH + dabbles in carbs / Pistols / rifles. So, can CL80 be attained this way? As well as 3k hp. I was always under the impression that 2 Masters combat templates were required for 3k hp / CL80. I have a feeling I'm confusing it with notes PRE-CU.

double elite mastery=CL 80 is what I think it is

It is supposedly possible to reach CL80 without double-mastery, but it is not possible with every "dabbler" combination. You would have to have three professions with similar novice-level prerequisites. Double mastery GUARANTEES level 80.
