I'm looking for some good Bounty Hunter macros. Here is my current set-up:

MBH

Master Rifleman

Combat Medic 4000

I have a sliced hevy lightning rifle that does 1137 of damage with speed of 2.18. I have shock trooper armor with no attachments, yet. The second question is can I beat higher level jedi with this set-up?

I took my first one down the other night but he was only worth 74K. Any feedback would be appreciated.

And yes, his friends whined and be-rated me. The jedi never said a word. That's class. Its a battle, some you win, some you lose.

you are master riflemen you should try to get some 8200 energy recon armor Tantel or Ubese.

light sabers do energy dmg FYI.

i would get Tantel so i can use the +10 range arm or a combination of the +10 range arm and the +5 range arm.

Thanks for the suggestion. The shock trooper is about 7100 on energy but I'll look into the other armor types.

I am going for the same exact temp you have. I have not yet made the 4000 on CM though. Only 2000 so far. But I have been able to take down 200k jedi with no probs. I have yet to try anything over 200k though so not sure how effective will be against a full temp or someone close to it.

you sure its not SCOUT trooper you're talking about? anyways i wouldnt go for imperial armor cause it jus costs too much...

on my server a set of 8200 faction armor runs about 2-4mill then you gotta either farm the faction to bio-link it or buy faction...another few mill down the drain.

a set of 8200 tantel runs for about 600k here so its jus better.

What do you mean by no probs? You aren't a completed template with CM, so you don't have the full scope of healing ability, but still you are having no problems at all taking down 200K or slightly less Jedi?

If it is true, I believe you, but if that is the case then what am I doing with MBH/MRifles/Pistoleer 0404

I can take down a 200k, but not without problems.

Well I am very patient at killing my prey. I always crawl in under cover and snipe them then KD and HS. That usually gives me a 1st incap or very close. So almost 50%+ of the time, I can get the first incap in very quickly. After I get the first one in, I usually move in a little closer just incase they decide to run(most do). I then have ranged shot set to auto-shoot. Yes I know it doesnt do much dmg but at least 25% of the time, I can get a 2nd incap in before they get their heal in just because my auto-shoot is clicking off every second and as soon as they get up it fires automatically. If this doesnt do the trick not then I blast them again with a HS or 2 and then do the same on the 3rd incap. I have only killed about 20 jedi or so but this has worked almost every time. I have only been able to DB 2 so far though. Since I use rifles I can never close the distance to get the DB in. Gona buy a cyber arm to fix that lil' prob though.

I have only had a few jedi actually try to fight back. Only died one time so far. They usually just have probs since I first attack at max range and KD, they cant close the dist without getting incapped. Catching them off gaurd part is proably my best advantage since they never even see me since I am covered. That initial sniper shot really does work great though!

Ewww...Your post count just hit 666 . =0

I just can't see how you can hit that hard when you don't have any ranged accuracy from a second ranged weapon line. I've got a super high end krayted lightning rifle with high damage along with a ton of ranged accuracy and I can't get close to an incap off of the first three shots on Jedi around 200k.

Going to have to try a little harder....I normally don't use sniper shot though, so maybe I'll try it out tonight.

Well most of my hunts have been after guys that were already taking dmg from some critters too. Some of them have not but at least half have been this way. If they are in this position, I like to wait until they are the most vulnrable. IE, wait till they have taken down most the mob as most of the force pool will be depleted, etc. Snipershot can usually get me 50% of their health if they are 100% healthy but if they are say at 3/4 or something. A sniper, KD, HS will incap. If they are 100% though I usually just add another HS into the mix and that does the trick. My lightning rifle isnt that powerful either. Probably about 1130 max dmg after the pup. Really though it just comes down to that first strike and being able to attack when they are at their worst.

667 now. Thats better.

What kind of armor are you using? The first jedi I took down used force run and tried to close the difference. I took him down with the Improved Underhand then pelted him relentlessly before he got up. Mind you, this was only a 74,000 jedi. I quickly killed him in under 30 seconds, burst running up for the deathblow after the second incap. He never had a chance to heal and I don't know if he had the ability. I watched him hunt pikets for 45 minutes. He never lost any life and was mowing them down. To use cover, you must be hitting them only while hunting.

Do you have a macro you use for the attacks?

In terms of macros, i use this to dismount quickly and kill to attack the jedi:

/ui action toolbarSlot11; (Deuterium Pyro)
/tar mark;
/dismount;
/chargeShot;
