I could care less how they handle people that exploit as long as the handle it in some fashion.

The BH showed up and full group, including his mark was LoS exploiting, he contacted a CCR. The exploiters got what they deserved.
I got $5.00 says thats exactly what happened.
Actually after the UO Counselor/GM debacle, I can see this. SOP should never be killing players. It should be "jailing" them until their account is either temporarily or permanently banned.
Actions (likewhat is mentioned in the original post)generate animosity between the player base who see's the "authority" as pandering. The "jail" method is a foolproof method for meting out punishment. You can't go "the CSR got me killed!", 1st time you were dropped in Jail, told what you were doing was an exploit (and you stayed in there until you were told, i.e. logging out didn't get you anywhere, you logged in, in jail.) then let go.2nd time you were temp banned, 3rd time was account perma-ban (for same exploit).

I like the message in the CSR forum about "the CSR nerfed me" -- really have to wonder what the CSR did. Maybe set a jedi to 0 force ? LOL..
Sure dropping agro isn't a way to handle CS. But it certainly will stop people from grinding afk in that instance for a while. So as a slightly biased person - I think what the CSR did was okay - although I'm inclined to think it's just a few players who are making up a story to make SoE look bad before they quit. I mean - not one screen shot. PLEASE - PLEASE post a screenshot (so I can laugh a bit more.)
I dont bother hunting jedi down there, too much of a pain. But its nice to see a CSR doing something.
I dont see the problem. So what an npc killed the jedi, it isnt like they lose any xp on pve deaths anymore.
Its sad, most of the post-cu *note I said most not all* jedi today are the biggest whiners I have ever seen, just look at the jedi forums for proof. Always crying for nerf on their own profession.
They have had it easy with respec, double xp, and this oh so wonderful exploited trail.

Um...I've grinded with my group down there for the past month, and we've seen a couple bounty hunters. Not one of them has exploited, nor have a few of my own marks...so, now EVERY Jedi does.
