Thread: /reportjedi
They should at least provide you guys a system to report people and take their mission.
Ex:
You see a some idiot jedi showing off in front of the starport (or in AFK grinding) You target him and do /reportjedi. (this works if he has his LS enabled or using force powers and have enough vis). You go the the BH terminal, and you are offered their mission before all the standard ones.
Terminal on Kash would help that as well.
BH get to hunt other players as content. your saying a jedi can't go pvp? whats a jedis content if you do things like this? hide in his house and run out and kill pikets?
a terminal on kash would work to solve that problem.
But it would have to be something that requires a lot more then one or two reports and really have some bite to the penalty of a BH death to work.
What I've come up with so far is player reports are additive to a jedi's visibility but slowly decay over time. There would be no static number at which you get put on the terms but once you reach the top 10% of jedi in visibility you get put on. The higher the visibility the higher the payout and death penalty. Over time it should be the corpse humping smack talking poor sports that rack up the most player visibility and thus the most likely to get a painful BH visit. Jedi that treat their victims and killers with a little respect might be able to get away with a couple hours of public PvP with out even making the terms.
Still would be a difficult system to control and keep from becoming a grief tool. Might need to do things like weight or mitigate reports from overts, other jedi, or anyone who has had any direct PvP involvement in a certain amount of time.
Make it so that that the targetted Jedi has to have an activated saber or be using a force power (as was originally suggested) and limit the number of times you can add visibilty to a Jedi (once until his mission has been completed).
Make a second tier of visibility: Enemy of the State. These do gettheir name shown upfront on the missionby name *and* are in danger of an NPC gank squad if they activate a saber or use a force power in front of "police" NPCs in NPC cities. If they die to a bounty hunter while at EoS level, they become a blue glowie for 24 hours, unable to interact with anything (in other words, this is why they have an alt).
Heh I cant post this on the jedi forums for fear of massive flaming but personally I like roleplaying the hidden jedi thing. I never carry a sabre (its on my hotbar if i need it) or stand in Cnet showing off... I would be all in favour of some penalty (crackdown or even an instant tef to any bh around) for people doing this. The one thing my BH friends hate is jedi standing in cnet dueling in front of everyone and after pub 20 not being able to make them pay for it....
As for the 1 v 1 aspect of the patch I think it will give you guys a lot more respect... If I get beat after pub 20 the BH will get my respect and a /t informing him of that and certainly there will be no excuse for the jedi bh flamewar that happens now. Good hunting....

so why dotn the devs just hand deliver a mission to the bh anytime he sees a jedi get real kahs is the only spot somewhat safe for low level paddys
With the new patch you can group together with others and generate no vis. You can hunt pickets on Dantooine without having to worry about bh. If you show up on the terminals its your fault. No one will need to AFK on Kash. If you are doing it, then you deserve a visits from BH. It is wrong and you know it.
Problem with patch 20 is that you can not target highly visible Jedi, and punishing AFK Jedi will be even harder. I suggested that /reportJedi would only work if you already have vis, and would simply help BH to hunt down blatant offenders. I think it is more then fair.

I ground from 0-0-0-0 initiate, to 0-0-0-0 Guardian with Saber TEF, BH terminals, and a guild tag that made me a mark for the whole server.
THAT was fun. That was exciting.
/afk on Kashyyyk isn't "jedi." It's...it's....... It's a crying shame.
