Thread: This Bounty Hunter is going on strike post PUB 20!

Thats right, with the new crappy changes in the works for pub 20, i bet you the droids wont work, always in the past when there was a publish that affected online status, droid fixes, friends list, and tracking updates, the droids would never work. You just get that "target not online"message.
Now with no name of the mark and your droids cant track your mark, they might as well remove jedi on the bounty boards all together. No way can you find an unknown person on 10, 16k sqaure meter, planets.
I hope the droids do work, but with SOE's patch history im keeping my fingers cross.
Well, i am just going to go on strike, i really dont like the bh terminal changes at all. im old school bh, been here from the beginning so i dont take kindly to changes, but this is a dramatic change.
I have alot oc co-worker Bounty hunter friends and i am going to organize a protest strike on my server soon, i will not protest in areas that will cause a server crash, i dont want to get banned or no one else for that matter, i just want us to be heard. I encourage all bounty hunters and all servers to go on strike. Dont hunt jedi at all and picket afk in you town of choice with your friends. Let the Jedi population run outa control, as it is already, dont hunt them at all, Stand up for our rights as customers and stand up for our beloved profession,

i think the best way to "strike" is to simply let them know in the test notes how you feel about the changes, remember the devs that create those posts and correspondents read through those notes, let your voice be heard, express opinions and new ideas
its not necessarily going to work but its better than making i quit posts and i'm going to drop bh posts
bh really isn't an important thing, when you have a large number of jedi population
and the #1 game seller breathing down your necks, it doesn't make it easy to wave a wand grant all of bhs wishes come true
so people need to come up with more of a compromise than "leave the system as it is" or "i'm going to quit"
because the way the system is, is faulty for jedi and bh

The best way to show you dont agree with these changes is to stay verbal about it. Taking a vacation from the hunt in game will leave the Jedi running around with one less hunter to worry about.
As for me, i will be laughing when five bounty hunters show up for the same paddy simply becuase none of us knew we were hunting one. That paddy will be wishing we had names and payouts on the terms.

oh, i am not quitting BH, i just going on strike, and i am gonna organize a protest, from now on i am not hunting any jedi. I bought this game 2 years ago so i can be a BH. in the course of two years ialso have a jedi so i know whats its like at both ends. Been killed a few times by a bh and now it hurts to lose exp but thats the fate i accepted when i got the lightsaber. But i felt like such a fool, more like another idiot with a glowstick and so i didnt advance into jedi and stayed a bh. Just kept a few force powersand the extra character is really nice to have.
I dont expect much to happen, but im thru as jedi hunting goes. IM out for the time being unless there is something good in the publish that helps us or they makes some serious changes to that lame publish 20.
Ill be on test center and send reports, i will use my jedi and my bh. test center is never reallly like the real servers so i expect what looks good on test center to be bad on live servers.
i just cant sit here and not speak up, the no-name no-payout stuff is not what bounty hunting is all about in my mind. I will justdo other things in the game with my bounty hunter. Im on strike, i never said i was quitting!

yeah, i expected alot of negative feed back, but just letting myself be heard, i dont like the changes, and for the record i have hunted knights and paddys, solo and in groups. If you think i am a little girl and whinnner then thats your problem, i dont like the changes and making myself heard, if u want to hear some really good whinning, go to the jedi boards. thats class A whinning over there.
Im a paying customer just like everyone else, and ill post my objections and apprassal just like everyone else.

in not cancelling or quiting, just frustrated with the pub 20 deal, i think there is a better way to make bh and jedi happy than this.

I bet you won't think it's funny IF your FRS system depends on us....
I can make credits with NPCs....you better HOPE you can get FRS off of eachother (fight clubs), becuase that MAY be all you have left...

all i can say is good luck. Us jedi tried it in coronet and the csr's just warped us to remote locations at first, then warned us, then banned us. We had about 60 jedi protesting at once....was kind of funny... corolag really earned its name that day. Take it from someone who truley hates the combat upgrade. all of your protests will go ignored. If the 10,000 cancelled accounts didnt get soe's attention, nothing will. again, i really wish you luck. maybe your protest will do what ours couldnt. its not a jedi vs bh anymore, its people paying the bills vs soe.
