So..........
Cloak will no longer be /targettable. However....if I am under cloak for 45 minutes, actually hunting and stalking as was designed for my profession, the Jedi (If they saw me running around earlier) can just do a /tar and see where I am.
So, why is it that not only can Jedi run, eat, heal, etc...while cloaked and we cannot target them, but if we even think about going un-prone we are visible, not to mention that they can just do a /tar on us?
In what skewed world does this game mechanic make sense?

You can fire while cloaked. A Jedi can not.

While I do agree cover shouldn't be targetable, you should post this in the Rifleman forums since its not a skill we Bounty Hunters have.

You are quite right!
I honestly blur the lines on accident since it is so key to a BH/MRifle template. However, the fact of the matter is that it is a bounty hunter vs. Jedi issue. Not as much a rifleman issue. I do respect your observation though and will bring it up over there.

Okay, if that is the case we should be able to Force Run while under cover...not to mention be untargettable. Oh, why not just throw in the ability to jump on our speeders, fire advanced crit while zipping around, but still be hidden?
All sarcasm aside....I feel that cover should be un-/tar gettable.

No sir!!! I'm undercover (we call that undercover and not cloaked) i can just fire 1 time, while I'm prone. after the first shot i go cover again, and with force run the jedi will be on my melee range in the time I stand up.... so it's really useless....

I think the sooner you realize that cover is not equal to cloak, nor was it ever stated that it was intended to be, the better off you'll be.
Just because two skills have essentially one similar trait (invisibility)...that doesnt mean they are the same skill.

Obviously the Devs want it that way... You prone 128m and try to make your way to the Jedi and it takes 45min.... By then he is logged

I agree that the two skills aren't supposed to be the same, but cloak already had a lot of benefits to it that cover doesn't have. I just feel that cover should carry the same targettable attributes as cloak. It makes sense.
What is the point of using cloak if they can target you, even though you don't show up on radar or in a cycle tab? Really, can you tell me a valid reason?

COVER IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE TARGATABLE.
Yes, we can fire from cover, but we must be prone. The riflesman corr. said the devs were working on Cover too
So to all Jedi - You wont be able to /tar exploit again. Expect some suprises next time you're hunting.

Don't forget this one: Jedi can accept rides into space while cloaked. Nothing has ever pissed me off more.
