What is the biggest bounty price that you guys have taken AND collected (won against)?

I am a MBH, MCM and Pistoleer 0004 and it seems that i can't kill any jedi over $150,000 by myself. I pretty much can hunt a $100k-125k jedi with no problems (or little to no problems anyway) by myself. I realize that a level 100k bounty can sometimes be harder than a 150k bounty, from my personal experience. I once attacked a guy that was a 74k bounty and he killed my other bounty hunter i was with (MPistol, BH 3444, Rifleman 0400) and after that, me and jedi could not kill each other. It was a DEAD even fight. He was CL80 along with me, and i wasn't a CM at the time, i was Carbineer instead. But still! That 74k bounty was a tough guy. We fought for about NO KIDDING 15-20minutes until i was like well....forget this, and he laughed and said goodfight and i told him to take it easy he diserved to live lol. He wasn't even using a saber, he was using an axe! He said if he used a saber i would have wiped the floors with him...

So what is the biggest bounty you have taken and collected by yourself, and what was your template, weps and armor???

I have your exact mbh/mcm/pistols 0004 template. I solo full template 225-226's and anything else on the terms. Selected ones of course, some jedi actually know what they are doing, the ones that arent 2 weeks in the ryatt full temp leetjed'ai mastas that is. And some of the better ones that pick useful pvp templates (ie not mdef) are fairly straightforward to solo for a very good bh, because their pvp squad defender/healer teams cant help them. Enhancers are good for this, awesome in pvp for crowd control (tho they can always stasis you and run off). Just takes time to grind them down, and they need to be so offended a single bh has come for them that they stay and fight long enough to run out of force/mind (usually mind).

If you cant solo much over a 150 then its the tactics. Make sure you have plenty of mind food going (I use booster blue and breath of heaven/mando wine). This assists your heals, and you CM offense. Open with a paralyse, and hold them para'd till you have applied shock/traumatise/electrodrain/thyroid rupture. This should take two cycles of para at master, cooldown is the same as effect duration, so you can hold them in place while you do all this. Apply a third para, then get out to 30m range, use a kd, then while they recover apply fire and poison (ensure you use enhancers, they are cheap, and a good multiplier of your skills). By the time you have fire and poison on they will be up and healing, root them with stopping shot from your pistol tree, and then pour on the hurt with alternate adv critical/torso shot (NB, torso shot is undervalued as a damage shot, ppl think of the bleed, but for a mbh, its a great standard damage dealer).

Just keep your range, kding as soon as possible, and rooting too. Ensure you use normal stim d's when you fight, not just CM heals. They give your mind pool an extra assist to make sure you dont run out. Throughout the fight, ensure you try and keep them stated by watching their status bars. when you see your effects are starting to wear off, use a kd and rush in to 10m. The most important one to apply is traumatise, this stops them regenning the mind their heals cost them. This is now the way to beat a jedi, mind, not force. You will soon find, depending on how much defender they have to block your normal shots, even healing your dots alone will run out their mind pool if kept trauma'd. Also, if running low on action, make sure you dont forget lowly ranged shot. Against a person with no armour on, even mdefs,, the rapid cooldown and okish damage will have a noticeable effect in a long fight.

As for your own heals, make use of standard bacta shot (as a mcm it will heal for approx 1500, even with no enhancers and super quick cooldown) and advanced bacta spray. These two are on different cooldowns, you can cycle heals real fast. Try not to use adv bacta toss, as the animation roots you for a few secs, you dont need that ever. Dont leave heals till the last minute, as soon as you are at 2/3 health pop one in.

Take full use of the MCM skills, they are easily the best of any prof in the game, jedi included. When dots wear off, repara, and repeat. Good luck jedi hunting, hopefully all CM/BH will find something useful in here. There's nothing quite like seeing a 225k's mind pool finally empty, and see those heals stop spamming .....

Its a winner, really is great. Only thing I'm thinking of changing on my temp is losing the pistols 0004 for carbs 0400. The root and defences are dead useful, but am thinking perhaps the improved leg shot from the carb tree, on a diff cooldown to adv critical on mbh might be better. Give you the ability to whack out a lot more damage in a shorter time, might be more useful than a root. I'll probably do that when jedi whine loud enough for devs to nerf root so it breaks on damage.

The largest one i've soloed so far is 211k. My template is MBH/MRM and working towards CM 4000 plus once i finish the village phases i'm putting some left over skills in force sensative combat prowess in the ranged speed boxes, i'll get like 9 added to my ranged speed.

Hehe, FCing ftw. Thats how I afforded all my uber pike equipment, killing off all the top bounties. Shame that 1050 max dam LVA with the fire dot and groovy skillmods converted to a 246 dps broomhandle ......

Yeah I am going to go around the lines of the templete you have my next time around. I said the heck with it and am going for the jedi line for now& I will re-make a BH. Figue have some decent BH stuff as well. And going from memory I think MCM can wear battle armor which would be nice to change with Assult.

That and the extra 10 lots will help!

And I really enjoyed the MBH grind so I know I shall enjoy it this time around as well.

Great 1st Post, and I feel you on the Pike, my 5.9spd 1102 hammer is now just another in the masses

Atm I am MM/MBH/MR I have a 1300dmg LR and maxed out on CAs/AAs. I find as long as I can either crawl up to them and pull off sniper shot, or just dimount on top of them and lay the hurt on fast. I do great. It's those long fights where I tend to go downhill. With Ruby Bliel not working right, and not healing skills, that can really screw me over. After readying the Patch 20 notes, I think I will have to go back to MCM/MBH and find a nasty scatter to replace my rifle.

As for you thinking of losing the pistols and going Carbs. I think you will most def up your dmg output, but that root is so very important at keeping the Jedi at bay, and also preventing them from running off. In straight up PvP it would be a dif. story.

Anyways, great post man.

I've tagged several above 210k, almost always due to timing my attack right.

Right before the CU hit I was hitting my stride. I knew my template, and could give a good beat-down to almost anything under 210k; when I lost, it was MY fault for allowing the Jedi to control the pace of the fight. I bagged several higher than that with careful planning and some luck. I did it purely with offense and had no healing in my template at all.

Post-CU, I've busted up some Duels and other PvP on full-templates, but nothing to be particularly proud of. I haven't done much hunting post-CU, though, to be honest. It took me almost six months to develop my skills and tacticspre-CU; I haven't even settled on a final template yet. Between Kashyyyk and an entirely new combat system (and food system) to learn, I just haven't been nearly as effective.

Duel up mang. You can get great xp from this. Find out what you are weak against. Every BH fears Force Sap, it sucks, but as you mentioned, timing, in your Pre-cu days. Well it's even more important now. I'll say the "luck" of catching your mark PvPing in some manner post patch20 will be like loot +300 Krayt tissue. I would get out there fast as you can. BHing is def. taking a turn for the worse. Hopefully it will be tempered w/ future patches.

oh and BTW - I have 2 FUlly Temp'd Jedi, one Pre-patch 9 and one Village baby. I've lived thru it all, the 2500dmg T21s, 1300dmg Pikes, you name it. I still have more fun w/ My BH than I ever do w/ my Jedi.
