Thread: Why Does my NPC mark seem to Vanish on Talus Only
Brimstone6 wrote:This has happened to me four times in a row when I track a mark down on Talus, and before you ask I have sent in several tickets but to no avail and I will continue to send in more. At the moment the only thing that I can do is abort the mission and go get another. Has anyone experienced this....just wanted to know if there if possible is a work around.
It happened to me on several planets, but when an NPC mark is vanished, he is ussually within 400m from the waypoint...
id suggest getting off the bike and walking it when you get within 300m
There are about three possibilities:
1) Droid lag. On Talus, bounties often seem stationary, only to warp 5km or more in a single update. It doesn't happen very often on other planets, but happens to me on Talus a LOT, usually when they start on the eastern edge of the map.
2) Bugged missions. Occasionally, they just don't spawn.
3) If the WP is within 400m or so of a starport, there is a possibility he has hopped a shuttle to another planet. This is rare, but it does happen. Try calling an Arakyd and see if maybe he got away.

4) they despawn midfight. Happened to me once last night and once this morning, both marks on Endor. Had seekers active both times. Update was always in the same spot where I initially found the mark. /bugged
