I am MBH/Mrifleman/ Pistoleer0004/medic 0020. I am capped with attachments for Healing Eff./ Rifle accuracy, Gen,. renaged accuracy/ melee defense/ and a few pts shy from capping rifle accuracy while moving and rifle speed. I do not use Cybernetic arms and will not go back to using them for Jedi hunting. I use 7900-8k energy armor and a 2300 PSG. If I do not have a focuses crystal handy I will pop Kanali Wafers/Blob Candy/Spiced Tea well before battle so my tummy emtpies. Most of the time I will not use spice as my battles drag out well beyond 10 mins and I hate downers My heals consist of Stims and Bacta Shot. I have Ruby B., Synth Steak and Duero (+204 ranged accuracy) drink in my tool bar along with parawan nutricake (insta-burst run).

I use a trandorifle with a SAC of 60, speed of 1(point) something, and roughly 1168 dmg. SAC pupped of course, and the acc bonus if you care is like a 6. Im looking for MBH/Rifleman with the CM4000 line to reply to this with feedback about their templates because I have been debating whether or not sacrificing Imp. Stopping Shot from the pistoleer line was worth picking up the CM 4000 for more heals.

Presently, only cloakers give me the hardest time. I can do well against master defenders and have gotten tells on a regular basis about being the thoughest Bounty Hunter the Jedi has gone up against. The battles drag out over a span of about 20 minutes in most cases, assuming my mark is a bit experienced. But in this situation, I usually run out of stomache space and end up dieing in a very close match.

With my template I play to survive (more defensively) than I do to kill (offensively). If my mark gets me rooted I will usually pop up duelist stance, and eat a synth steak (if my health is getting knocked low). If I need to heal I will startle shot to buy my self a few secs and hopefully the root will wear off in time for me to KD the Jedi and run to safe distance. This process enables me to either run my mark out of force and kill him, or at least survive a great deal of time before my tummy fills up and I die because I just cannot keep up with heals. In most cases, I force the Jedi to use a Holocron. I use stopping shot again to keep the Jedi outside the 32m range. I have read a lot about the CM 4000 option but I am wondering if there are BHs out there who have played both my template and then CM 4000 one and can provide feedback as to why it is or is not worthwhile to get rid of the imp. Stopping Shot for the Healing.

I believe I can find synth steak with alot less filling ifI shop around, and that would probably help me a bit, and I could also try using that other less filling dmg. reduction food (name slips my mind atm).

Thanks guys and am looking forward to read your CM 4000 feedback.

Reply this is the EXACT template that I want to make my secnd character when i jedi next phase. In fact, I too have already been saving healing eff ca's and rifle speed ca's etc. Disspointing and discouraging for you to tell me that you want change profs You're making me think my MBH MCM is better =(

PS: What armor do you use that is 7900 - 8k Energy resist, i've never seen any that high. What is it, Ubese armor that is layered for Energy resist?

Nothing is better, it's how you play it. How can one possibly learn his profession thoroughly if keep using RESPEC and changing templates...You really need to dedicate some time to your profession to become skillful at it. Im not dumping it...I was simply asking for feedback about changing the pistoleer line for the CM line. Still keeping the MBH/MRifleman.

The armor I wear is energy layered Recon (tantel, ubese, mabari).

The main problem I have is that my snare, root, and states, either don't stick, or the jedi heals them, and I can't reapply for x amount of time. States are the hardest to stick, but I was having touble just hitting a Jedi the other day...must need more accuracy. I have the hardest time finding or looting rifle accy, or gen ranged accy. Plus my actual speed, not shot speed, seems to be lacking...I mean the Jedi just kick on force run and heal off the snare, and they are on me quick....even from 50-60m away. Anyway, I'm just getting back into pvp after a month of not playing at all, and about a year of non pvp...so I'm sure I got lessons to learn.

Welcome to Force Aura. The improved version adds+500 to their defenses. This will impact both your odds to hit, and your odds to stick states. If they have improved Force Armor, that's another +40.

Even with Pyro, you'll be lucky to hit 1 in four times. Coupled with long cool down times...

With tapes capped at +25... no amount of accuracy stacking available to you will really make that much of a difference. However, I have seen some people suggest the cap does not apply to accuracy based on their testing, so if you have the credits to burn, it might be worth it to put a +25 general ranged accuracy in each piece of armor.

Good luck.

I've tried both sides of the fence. CM 4000 far outweighs pistols 0004. First, the shot needs to HIT, and if it dosn't then you are looking at a long cooldown time .. only to try to make it HIT again. It's a gamble vs def templates.

Healing on the other hand is 100% successful every time!! With +25 healing eff SEA's and bactaspray enhancers you can alternate Bacta Shot for 1100 per heal and Bacta Spray at 1350 per heal. I never use Bacta Toss because it roots you in place.

Bottom line for me, I'd rather NOT have the root and take the occasional damage while kiting and have the ability to heal it away with 100% reliability than take a chance on a root with very poor healing .. Bacta Shot will only heal you for 700 with Medic 0020 and +25 SEA's .. on a 6 second timer = Dead Bounty Hunter.

I thought all the "while moving" mods didn't work post-cu? as in not that they are broken, but they took them out completly?

to op, i used to use exact template u have and switched it to cm 0004 and med 0010 while keeping mrm and mbh ( one skill point remaining )

i enjoy my current temp because i have a paralyze as well as combat speed debuff and movment speed debuff and the added healing eff from novcm as well as med 0010, i use bacta toss enhancers , stims and bacta shot, bacta toss for wen im rooted ( cuz ur stationary anyhow ) stims can b used while kd ( for thos that didnt know ) and bacta is enough to keep me healed on tha move

tha paralyze is great for when a jedi gets right on top of u thinkin he has u set up for a combo and tah combat speed debuff is wonderful vs. mls

anyhow jus some food for thought, granted 4000cm is great for healing but in my career ive always opted for more offense over heals so its all a matter of ur fighting style

As I'm finding the game really wants me to be a carbineer, bh, combat medic lol...i keep looting carbine d, accy and speed tapes and tapes with bio suppression efficiency...

I was corrected by my roommate on one issue, the Jedi can't heal the root and snare....I must contribute the fact it doesnt stay long to lag on my part that doesnt make the animation go through...or something because in PVE my root and snare last like 10 and 15 seconds at least. Sadly, you have to catch a jedi with his/her "pants down" to beat em...which does take time and effort, i actually missed a perfect chance to cap a jedi in the tusken fort the other day as she was channeling...but i was under Cover and didnt want to break...i realized too late that the reason for the 1200 health on a cl 80 character was because she'd channeled....i kicked myself for not kd and capping her while she was vulnerable.

my alts temp mbh/mr/cm4000 so far(2 days) record is 1-2-2, the 2 losses they beat the heck out of me, the 2 draws were mutually agreed upon(hey i still got paid). the 1 win took nearly 45 minutes because the mark kept running into a reb base, i actually got there when a bunch of imps were storming so good timing. i would get him low then he would stasis and run into base, i decided this would not do. so i waited for the pvp to start for the 4th time, i finally got him in the open after he ran/cloaked and gave him a nice db, 221k in the bank. so far the hardest part is waiting em out, i can heal pretty good but have to watch for that kd at 50% health. besides that its just hoping they dont run or mdef with a good saber. so far every encounter i had was friendly regardless of outcome(save the 1 i actually killed we had no communications)
