Good point, I imagine it would. This it first example of something with the Star Wars name on it, that's not included in "cannon" for the community. This is more of a game that is based off Star Wars, but not directly involved in it.
The key to the continued almost 30 YEAR success of the franchise is it's ability to transfer mediums first from Film to TV (Ewok Specials), board games, video games, printed books, comics, etc and have them ALL tie into a larger story. It's amazing when you think about it. No other franchise that I know of was able to havethelasting success that Star Wars has. It truly is a modern Fairy Tale, it just keeps getting newer and better, and more appealing as time goes on. Holy cash cow!

Has the following ever happened to anyone else ?
I'm fighting my mark for about 15-20 minutes, during which he tries to go hide into a factional base. Since I'm the same faction as he is, and since I'm combatant, I'm able to enter the base. He gets out, continue fighting. After a few minutes,he realizes that he's going to lose. He runs into the base again. During thefew seconds I need to follow him inside, the mayor of the city (and guildmate of the mark) places 3 mission terminals in front of the door. I can not enter the base anymore. My mark logs.
that is an exploit, and the mayor should be reported.
I would agree, below is a clicky to an official announcement about blocking bases, it only mentions static world objects ebing used to block, but judging by the content of this post i would assume that non-static items such as terminals etc would be viewed just as severely ......

Even though that Annoucnement say "Using static object....", a player (the mayor) is STILL purposly using something to block the entrance of the base. So I think it would be the same.
Static - : exerting force by reason of weight alone without motion
2 : of or relating to bodies at rest or forces in equilibrium
3 : showing little change <a static population>
4 a : characterized by a lack of movement, animation, or progression b : producing an effect of repose or quiescence <a static design>
5 a : standing or fixed in one place : STATIONARY
I think any object that is impassable could be defined as "static" in the general sense. So, a tree OR a player placed structure like a mission terminal/fountain, etc are static.
Im not saying what the mayor did was right. But I would like to see the system changed in a way I wont have to see a guilded paddy being picked on by some FOTM BH.

Been there, done that.

Thing is. If the jedi being attacked is in your guild, hes in your faction and hes your friend. You are going to help him. And in this broken system you can not help.

The Jedi in question is a Master Defender. And I'm Master Pistoleer, which is not the most efficient profession for a BH (the best currently seems to be MCM). So please don't try to excuse the use of an exploit by making me pass for the big bad guy, and the Jedi a poor defenseless orphan.
Also, if we extend your reasoning, everyone should be attackable permanently. Because we can all have a good reason to attack someone who's attacking someone else. What you calla "broken system" is the only way to guarantee relatively fair fights.
