Thread: Hiding in a factional base is not safe enough. Have it locked by your mayor!

Has the following ever happened to anyone else ?
I'm fighting my mark for about 15-20 minutes, during which he tries to go hide into a factional base. Since I'm the same faction as he is, and since I'm combatant, I'm able to enter the base. He gets out, continue fighting. After a few minutes,he realizes that he's going to lose. He runs into the base again. During thefew seconds I need to follow him inside, the mayor of the city (and guildmate of the mark) places 3 mission terminals in front of the door. I can not enter the base anymore.My mark logs.

that is an exploit, and the mayor should be reported.

Wouldnt be Brimstone and exile would it?

Mission terminals to block the path?
Since when can you use mission terminals to block a path?
I'll try it tonight..... but i always run through my own mission terminals....

I was a mayor of a player city for a long time... placing 3 terminals would take at least a minute or 2 to do... what were you doing while he was placing them? Just curious.

BH's have no allegiance to anything but themselves.....and rightfully so. Go read the Star Wars books for god's sake. Boba Fett ran missions for both sides......his allegiance lasted only until he was paid or it became in his interest to flip sides.......who cares about same faction hunting. More power to you for getting closer to your kills.

blocking bases with anything is a violation of tos / yada yada yada. there was even a red post a couple weeks back about blocking them with trees (moronic). report it to a csr and the base will get removed.

I was delayed by about 10 seconds because of the Jedi snaring me. Maybe 2 of the 3 terminals were already placed when the jedi entered, and the mayor only had to place the 3rd one, which can be done instantly. I have screenshots of the terminals in front of the door in case you are suspicious about what I'm saying. On the screenshots we can also see my mark targetted with health partially drained, which proves we were fighting a few seconds ago.

Well I don't really care about the base being removed or not. What I care about is my mission that I haven't been able to complete because of this violation of the rules.

Well I don't really care about the base being removed or not. What I care about is my mission that I haven't been able to complete because of this violation of the rules.
i think the csr's take action against those who do the blocking too.
