Thread: 0400 CM?

I've heard people can still heal fairly well with 0400 cm. As a rifleman I'm finding it quite difficult to do anything but run Jedi out of force or catch em offguard for my kills but that doesn't always work so well as they tend to run.

I'm just wondering if any of you have 0400 cm. If I can keep up my mind, I think a couple of dots would work quite well as far as finishing some of these marks off.

I picked up 3 armor attachments to cap Medical Warfare efficiency so I'm gonna try it out regardless. Just fishing for input.

It's funny that you bring this template up. I'm currently MBH, M Rifles, Pistols 0404. But I'm also considering switching to this same template. I figure then I can lay down some fire and poison when the jedi closes in on me (which also seems to happen). I'm also hoping that it will give enough of extra healing to keep me alive. Hopefully anyways.

I should have the healing xp by tonight. I'll let you know what I think. My only concern is keeping up on my heals. Since I have no FS skills I noticed there's room for 0010 medic which will give a little extra boost in healing.

I'll let you know how it goes if nobody else responds here who might have it.

I tried the temp MBH,Mrifles Cm0400 just didn't work well, the bonuses you get from pistol 0404 are much better as you gain root plus all the advantages from extra ranged and melee def, acc and speed. The healing abilities for cm 0400 are ok, but if you are thinking of doing this temp go for Mcm instead as much better heals, plus paralyse and thyroid rupture abilities more than make up for what you've given up on. I heard plenty of jedi curse thyroid rupture.

Also with Mbh, Mcm you can still have a 4 in any of rifle, pistol or carbines skills which can also be a benefit.

Works awesome. FIrst off let me say that healing attachments work better than any other type. You can get a +18 Shirt and +18 Bandoleer and you can heal the same as CM 2xxx with just those. You wont miss the melee defence at all. I run with CM 1xxx and the shirt and bando but once I get an attachment with 10 or more to healing efficiency then I will drop the CM 1xxx. Right now I am CM 14x4. This is awesome vs jedi I also buy and use the enhancers that Bio guys make. It makes a huge difference on your CM dots on how often they stick and how much damage they do.

I was CM x4x4 for a long time but since I fight Jedi all the time I decided to go back to 1xxx untill I get some attachments.

Its a great way to do extra damage to Jedi for cheap. Dots alone can eventaully wear down a Jedi's Force without fireing a shot. The trick is making him run out of Force before you run out of mind at that point so shooting helps. Those uber Saber Jedi are still nearly impossible to beat though so just run for the hills and dont waste time once you get hit for over 700. Its highly unlikely you will defeat one of those guys. I have not tried Rifles out as I have stuck with Pistols but I bet this CM set up and Rifles could probably nail even the toughest Jedi.

I've tried Master Cm 0004 pistols. I've tried Master Cm 4000 rifles. I'm currently master rifles cm 4000 and I like it best. I hated the accuracy using the prior 2 templates and found myself relying on dots alone to kill.

Sounds like a few people have tried this. I'm excited to give it a shot. I think the dots ticking will keep the jedi off me more due to him concentrating on the pain and having to heal more.

By the way, I must assume the people going 0404 pistols have no healing? That'd be rough.

I'm MBH, MPistols, CM0400. I've had this template for a while since CU, I changed for CM4000 after the healing changes a few publishes ago, but I missed the DoTs so I went back to CM0400 about 2 weeks ago (just when the DoTs were broken.....:smileyindifferent.

I think I'm doing ok with both templates, the CM4000 one allows you to last longer, the CM0400 is putting you in a little more dangerous situation but the heals remain ok when you have a medical droid and some stims and ruby bliel. I would say that each of the template is adapted to a certain type of Jedi template. The CM4000 is good against Jedi with good offensive skills, because you may be able to heal fast enough to have him run out of action, which will allow you to counter attack. The CM0400 is good against Jedi who rely more on healing and defense, because it will help you drain their force and mind away by forcing them to heal more often.

I would recommend that you try both on a few missions. It's not that long to change from one line to another.

EDIT:note that all this may change with the new healing costs coming soon to live

I finished my retemplating last night. I then went out and did some shopping. Bought a +18 healing efficeincy shirt, a chemical fire stim and a poison stim.

I then did a test vs a jedi. Ok, by test I mean I tracked one down this morning and opened up. heh The jedi that who's mission I had was fully templated and in a PVP guild. From I can tell, he has MLS, Def xx4x, Healer 4xxx, Enhancer 2xx3. Overall a very good soloing type of template.

Between me using a couple drinks of ruby, stim D's and bacta shot, I was able to keep in healing. This was something I couldn't do when I had Pistols 0404. I was also able to hit him with chemical fire as soon as he closed in after rooting me. That stuff was ticking for 278 points of damage. A nice little bonus to my rifle fire. After 20 minutes or so of fighting, he used FR2 to escape me. So far, I have to say I like my adjustment to my template.

Ya know, My Jedi fought a master rifleman last night with the normal 4000 cm and the sucker ran me out of force twice. Of course my dumb arse didn't havesaber hiton the keyboard and my aura macro wasn't running. I kept having deja vu from the marks I hunted on my rifleman. I only took his mind down low once.

I'll try and find a group today and test the template out. I think he'd have killed me with a little cm.
