Thread: Do PSG's work against Jedi Lightsabers?

Ok, PSG (Personal Shield Generators) are Energy protection. Jedi lightsabers do Energy Damage. Do PSG's work against Jedi lightsaber damage?


The logical part of me wants to say, of course, energy damage weapon....energy damage protection....of course they work. In conjuction with my regular armor stats. BUT, this is SWG....so why would I assume anything? LOL


I am not looking for speculation here, if someone knows for sure on this please post and let me know. I give up a very nice modded belt when I equip my PSG...and if the PSG is worthless against the jedi then why am I even wearing it.

I don't have your definitive answer about LS damage, but they help alot against enemies using ranged energy damage.

Yes it does.. Its not much of a help, But it does protects..

ok NO psg's dont work vs Jedi No powers/saber throw are both classed as Melee attack's due to the fact that they all spawn off from a Melee proffesion (i use to ask the same questions and these are my answers that i got)

PSG's only protect against ranged energy attacks and that does not include saber throw. Just look at you vombat spam next time you fight a jedi in one and you will see

PSG's only protect against ranged energy attacks and that does not include saber throw. Just look at you combat spam next time you fight a jedi in one and you will see
