Thread: PVP Black Box occours

Guys, usually jedis have this black box that goes around them.. i always assumed for there defense or something but i have a question..
this might sound like a noob question, but i dueld pvp agianst another MBH and they had that black box in pvp.. is that a special attack? this black box apears during the pvp and then it goes away.. is that just a graphic or is actaully something that poeple use during pvp.

no i dont have that installed.. just the original version of the game..

sounds like you are seeing ROTW animations that you don't have the files to be displayed properly, so the only thing the system can do is to show a default image. kinda like the default image box on ships with bugged reward weapons.

Mine started doing it about a month back, what you refer to is a bounty hunter's defensive stance being activated, and a jedi defensive aura going up. For some reason, it shows black to me now also, however I did not have this problem a month or so ago *shrug*

go on ebay, but rotw quite cheap or head to game and buy it, install it and then beat up the jedi with better animations

One other animation I can think of that would cause this isForce Speed. For those without RoTW it does help to know what other possible skills the person is using without having to look at their stat bar.

My Mrs Has a alt that has none of the expantions, she sees a "Black Hole" appear under me when i force meditate, so I can only agree with the above posters

After one of the patches my shield generators started showing up in black instead of green when activated. Could be it..
