Thread: As a Bh dirty tactics are fine to use right?

If I am a Bounty Hunter, but I got jedi visibiity from playing with this saber I found, then using whatever tactics to avoid the other bounty hunter is okay is it not? Bounty Hunters are not held to any code except to survive at any costs. So cloaking and waisting the other BH time seems like a fine thing to do. Its more like a pastime to be out in the middle of no where and lead someone following me across the planet while FR2 and cloaked. I know my current template is not a match ageinst anothers combat template so I refuse to fight. Plus in RL I'm a distance runner.

If a BH can get in my group or catch me out unawares I respect them for that and have no complants. But I should not be obliged to provide a free lunch. Doing an Investigation only to find my NPC mark vanished seemed a common thing back then. Why should I be any different? Blast that Imperial starport on Yavin for making it more difficult to chase my marks using probe droids.

How can you say you've lived life if you've never danced?
Well I do remember Han having a one piece suit made out of carbonite but it weighed a ton. Still it didnt require any ironing and was very wear resistant.
Thanks SOE! The CU and NGE gave me my life back. Thanks! Bitterness is the taste of love lost, a tear of acid that burns the heart.
Long gone, in sorrow of song. Stand I make to deliver hope with twisted temporal past, for the ripples in time distort what affects when. Prowlies a must see Clicky!
As a dreamer I sing to the sea and imagine the possibilities and potential this game could free, but when I get home a sad sight there be. A lost fool, for once was is gone, what could've been to never be, and the angel of my heart to be forgotten, locked away by the key of SOE.

there is no problem with using dirty tricks, i mean like grouping with them for a while then killing them on low health example...

i dont do this, frankly because i find a good one on one fight more enjoying.

but you a bh if you want to use tactics to win, dirty ones at that then there is no problem...

just as long as you dont exploit to win, if you do there you pretty poor to be honest

be careful, from what ive read on some jedi post's is once your grouped with a jedi and you iniaite an attack they wont be able to attack you back, they may call you an exploiter for useing this tactic. (this is a warning) so you can either ungroup right before you attack (make a macro for it) or just let them all you a Sploitzor! and be on yourhappyway

And if the Jedi were smart, he would drop from the group to continue the attack. That "attack while in group" thing is good first strike, but if the Jedi knows what the hell's up, it's easily counterable.

as i said, i have never used this myself, but i remember some guy doing it in our group once, when we were killing black suns on yavin and the jedi was on AI.

i also recall a few weeks ago, when i was dueling a rebel jedi, he had AI on andfunnily enough, a guildy of mine came along and just paralyzed him on the last few seconds of AI. He simply db him once Ai ran out and he was incapped.

this isnt exploiting, quick wits i think, and the abuse i got after was hilarious

The point is a smart jedi will be able to turn you into a so called "sploitzor" still fight you after a few min of ponceing about while takeing Ss's then talk to aCSR. then they will bring it to the Jedi forums and whine all day and then well ultimately get nerfed.

it doesnt matter if a jedi knows how to get around it the fact is that if you use this tactic a jedi may call you a sploitzor and there more then likely will be be a flame war

Also i recommend not using the group with them trick either simply because you may someday start a new char and be recognized, and perhaps no one will ever give you an invite ever again.....or you may want to help a noob guildie and find no one will group with you cuz they know your rep....maybe im just a crapy B/H but thats the one tactic I wont use because of that possibility......why when you can find them 50% of the time grinding anyway without being in their group.....any other i use....even killing them L/D or afk.....which I know sounds worse, but personally I dont think it is. I mean if I group with them I have entered a sort of unwritten agreement that we will watch each other's back...If I am hunting and find them AFK or hes too lazy to walk his butt back to his own house and logits his problem I view it.
