Thread: Unhuntable Jedi -- remove them from the Terminals
How about just automatically giving us a WP to them, root them until we arrive and maybe debuff them for us too...
Sheesh!!
Just drop the mission and get another...it's annoying, but maybe if we stop complaining about the little things, the big things *might*get taken care of.

This is not a little thing 43% of all missions are Jedi that are not huntable. Imagine if you wasted 43% of your time at work, how long do you think your boss is going to keep you around...hes going to FIRE YOU?We are the boss here, we pay the bills with our subscription fees. If they don't start fixing this crap more of us are going to FIRE SOE.(I.E. Cancel accounts). Before you shoot your mouth off get educated on the problem.BTW: Expect this problem to increase as the Jedi are now aware how big an issue it is over in BH land, so how do you think they are reacting....not by logging out oh no...now MORE or them are pulling this garbage.FIX THE HOUSE SITTING, KASHYYYK, SPACE Jedi: Remove them from the terms and have droids report they are not trackable.
Jedi players also pay subscription for this game.
I think this debate shows us how good the BHs really have it atm.

The percentage comes from an older research thread where 21% of bounties were found inside houses, 9% were AFK and cloaked, and 13% were on Kash.
Certain ideas to fix all three would be a) remove game features that allow AFK "play", b) remove bounties from the terminals if they remain static for a long period of time, or c) have droids notify if you target is static, or at the least, inside a house (launching a seeker from any planet will tell you if he's on Kash)
Personally,I wish the Devs wouldstop jerking us around when it comes to Kashyyyk. We've been told (in the past) that Kash was designed to add un-interupted content. Unfortunately that "content" includes static grinding for Jedi (and non-Jedi alike). When the droids were disabled after partially working before many of us surveyed the instances and then scoured the terminals for names to match. Shortly thereafter bounties were made anonymous, thus killing the afore-mentioned technique.
My point is that if we aren't supposed to hunt on Kash, why not just remove Jedi from the terminals as soon as they touch down on the planet? Of course I can't speak for everyone (especially not for the dedicated hunters who brave the filthy planet), so I'd only push a change like this if I felt there was enough community push...

Could our correspondent please lobby to get Kashyyyk and Space Jedi either removed from the terminals or give us their name so we can research and at least know where we can set a trap for them.As it is now they may as well be offline. On Kash without droids and or a name with the multiple instances it is a near imposibility and in space there isnt anything we can do. Pulling these missions is a wasted effort, I allready waste enough time on house sitters.

How about grunt your teeth and do the mission anyways? Thats what I did. Theres actually a tip I used and every jedi found ended up dieing AFK.
Be a bounty hunter.
Once you complete the mission and have the jedi dead at your feet, you will
- Feel 125% more proud than if you killed the jedi on dantooine or naboo.
- Teach the jedi a lesson.
FYI, I find it useful to find one jedi on yourfaction (unless your a known same faction hunter, then your screwed ) and ask him where hes grinding. They always tell me ![]()
Finding Jedi on Kasyyk is Easy.
There are only a few places they really hang out there & more often then not, they are Totally AFK & in large "AFK" Groups.
Group with other BH & form a team, with several scouting these places & informing the other Group members what Instance the Jedi are hiding on each day, so that should they get one on Kashyyyk, they know right off, where to go.
I Find "GREAT" pleasure in Killing AFK Jedi on Kashyyyk & Long for the mark to be there with every Jedi mission i take... "It's Just the coolest fun to be had"!!!
Now, as for Space..............
Well heres my take on that..
I Think Probots should work for locating Jediin space, or atleast, a new type of droid should be made to locate jedi in space & that PvP privies, should be given to BH whom are tracking a Jedi that is in space or moves there.
In the acctual SW universe, Bountyhunters are able to blow the crappers out of a mark in space, so why shouldn't we get the ability also.
Well theres the Twitch thing, that might make space hunting seem unfair to some, but that still applies to going to Kessel or Deep Space. If you are Overt in space you accept the risk of getting blown to bits, so being a jedi whom is willing to get on the Terminals should also accept the risk of being targeted in space.
If he isn't a good pilot, then he should go sit in one of the Kashyyyk Instances & wait for me there.....hehehehehehehe
Personally, I think Space in general in SWG is utter crap.
I would liked to have seen them use the full X Vs Tie Engine out there instead of the 1/2 arsed attempt to copy it in this game.
