Sorry for the dumb question, but what exactly does it do, and is good for animals as well as human npc's and pc's? thanks...

When something is intimidated it will do about half the damage it normally does. It is a very good tactic to use for those hard hitting mobs. From my experience you have to do some damage to the mob before the intimidate will stick. At least for higher level mobs.

no jedi cant block intimidate, its not a ranged or even a melee attack.
it works great, jedi hate it, i can tell u that. Onlyu defsne vs. intimidate can make it hard for it stick.
best 15 skill points u can spend, halfs all their damage and makes them less acuurate and makes them more vunerable to your attacks.,

They can still block i think....just not as efficiently
They can't "block" it... it's a state. Not some kind of Melee offence or Ranged offence. It just has the same % of missing as any other state. So, if they have some kind of intimidate defence, they can effectively ward off this state a little better than somebody that doesn't have it.Vice Versa for somebody that doesn'thave an intimidate defence... The more it lands.

I decided not to get master brawler in order to become a MAster Doc so I could heal states in battle, buff myself, sell buffs and all the other good things that come with it. However I did have to drop Master brawler in order to get it. So my question is I have +22 worth of Intimidate SEA's and +17 worth of Warcry SEA' in armor and clothes. In the end would this compensate for not having Intimidate 2 and Warcry 2 from Master Brawler or would it just be better to be a master brawler. Thanks
