I am MCM and MBH and am either goiing Carbs 0400 or Rifles 4000 (any advice on that would be nice too), this is a new template but have been a BH for a while. Iam looking for some advice on tactics you other MCM's use against jedi. What specials you use, when you use them, foods, do you stack all the DOT's right away or do you hold out for a good paralyze, do you fight toe to toe and heal or do you kite and use electrolyte drain, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Go MBH/MR/CM 4000 you will have alot more success. The DOT's are not sticking that often. Takes a bunch to land one. think Ive heard something like 75% of the time it may land

my opinion 4xxx doc/mbh/mrifles is a much better combo. with uber heals it takesquite a long time for somebody to bring u down, even if they can

this template is not even possible--most you can get is novice doc if you plan to keep masters in both rifle and bh

I am sorry I didn't make myself clear, I love MCM and am looking for input from other MCM's as far as what tactics they use. Thank you all for the input though.

things have changed now for mcm since the publish 19

before you could almost tank the jedi but now that you have to worry about MLS hard hits you MUST take advantage of range.

i like to paralyze as my first move--gives you 15 seconds to add 2 debuffs then get away --i add traumatize and thyroid rupture as my first two debuffs ---i move away and add dots--at this point your mind is at least 2/3 so you need to start using your bh specials to add damage and let your mind regen, also good to apply your states like blind dizzy stun since they will alter his accuracy and damage output

make sure you armor is sliced for armor break reduction btw

if your jedi saps you--take some mandolarian wine and booster blue to counteract the debuff.

use your heals as normal but SAVE your ruby biel/ stim D for when he knocks you down

also keep your distance! root snare and kd time permiting

if he roots you--make sure you have duelist stance activated--i personally am not a fan of looping macros because i find if you get kd , these looping macros can bug you so you cant knockdown recover while kd

now its just patience--make sure traumatize and thyroid rupture is always on, since i find mind is the critical factor now for jedi compared to action pre Pub19

hope this helps

<------ Combat Medic forum is that way, since you asked for help from master CMs, if you want help from BH that USE CM, you're in the right place

ROFL, I already asked them and they told me if I want BH tips on hunting jedi with CM go to the BH forum. I am looking for MCM that use their profession as a BH sothis is also the right place for the postbut thanks for the try though.

I usually open with a paralyze, then a traumatize and thyroid rupture, then hit with an electro drain, back up as far as you can then throw your dots, then keep hitting them with your weapon specials.

I'm new to the medic profession, my template is mbh/mpistoleer, I have enough points to train a complete branch in thecombat medic profession. I'm looking at either chem warfare tree, or biological warfare tree for xtra attacks. which tree is better? and I see evervone mentioning dots, what does that stand for? any advice or help is greatly appriciated.

---thanks

DoT stands for Damage over Time. For example, Deuterium Fire is a DoT thatcauses fire damage over a given time period. So for each 'tick' during the time that the DoT is applied, it will do a given amount of damage.Nota very large amount of damage either, as MCM it usually adds for me an extra 200-300 damage each tick.

The Chemical Warfare tree is the line with the DoT attacks which can also be applied at range (30m max if I recall correctly) and in that line you get 2 DoT attacks...Deuterium Fire and Neurotoxin (Poison). Since you are a pistoleer as well and will be close to the range in which to apply these, if you want some extra damage in your attack,I would suggest this line.

The Biological Warfare tree has debuffs in it, specifically Thyroid Rupture (attack speed debuff) and Electrolyte Drain (movement speed debuff) and the Paralyze skill which is a Mez that breaks upon attack. These skils need to be applied at melee range, so 10m or less, but can assist in controlling the fight from your side. They don't do any damage themselves but can assist in keeping targets at range.

Both lines are good, it really depends on what you perceive your particular needs are, or what types of skills you would like to add to your template.
