I am working on my 4th block of investigation. I have a question about missions. It seems, correct me if I am wrong, that if I am holding my big gun, I get missions with an impossible target. Their HAM bar is like 27K, or something. Now, if I have a small gun, I get a 7K HAM target. Sounds simple, I just take missions with small gun, then switch to large.

MY QUESTION: Am I giving up xp by taking a lesser HAM target? Is the loot any different?

NEXT QUESTION: I am making a CA enhanced suit to aid me in BH'ing NPC's for loot. I am capped (+25 or greater) on Ranged Defense and General Ranged Accuracy. I am a Master Rifleman. What other stats should I add to my suit?

Depending on your other elite proff, cap the following:

Rifle/Pistol/Carbine: Speed/Accuracy
Rifle/Pistol/Carbine: Defense
General Ranged Speed/Accuracy
Ranged Defense

Healing Effenency

Jamming bases is where you go to a NPC base and find the Terminal Uplink, use it, and "Jam" it. This will give you 1000xp per base.

You can "jam" the uplink on any opposing faction PvE base at anytime, yes. Provided that that base has not already been "jammed" When you enter the base, if on "alert" there will be red lights flashing, you cannot jam the uplink. If you enter the base, and see no lights and hear no alarm, do /tar uplink to find it, and then "jam" it.

To jam an uplink: You will need to find 2 frequency codes in a list of 10. Start at 5, and it tells you to search higher/lower. Narrow it down until you get the correct frequency, then repeat. You will recieve 1k BH expereince for this.

To better search SOE's site, use the google and the commad "site:" to search. Like follows:

In the good search bar:

site:http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/ KEYWORD KEYWORD KEYWORD (note, no commas seperate keywords)

This will search the entire SOE forums for what you are looking for, and return them in a normal search list within google.

To add to your suit... I would add a +25 General Ranged Speed and a +25 Speed for you specific weapons profession, ie rifle, pistol, or carbine. Also a Range +25 accuracy for that same profession, and if you are rifle a +25 Rifle Accy Whlie Moving and a +25 Terrain Negotian (crawling) will help out also. It can get expensive, but that would be optimal.

This is what I have so far. As far as the terrain negotiation (Crawl), I don't need this until I go after Jedi, correct?

I do this to grind FS exp. Not that I'm ever going Jedi..but a crafter account is cool

1) Eat a health buff food

2) Duelist/Burstrun

3 Spam /tar uplink on a macro

4) Incap/die

5) Jam that terminal =)

6) Repeat

Hardest thing is finding a nice source of imperial bases w/oturretson my server.

That is an expolit. If reported you will be suspended, and any experience gained will be taken away. The base will also be put back to "non-alert" status.

There is a high probability that you will get caught doing it, since most guilds have the bases near their city, and someone is likely to see you enter the base an investigate what you are doing inside of it.

Is there a way to find out where bases are other than driving around? Can I take mission on my faction terminal to locate them?
