Thread: Energy weapons aginst jedi are pointless.....

I have a adv laser 520 - 1170 2.5spd unmodded 82sac 62acc and i always use my hyper fallen which is like 988 max dam 2.4spd 90sac. My "uber" gun just cant do the damage. Plus i dont know how any non mcm/mbh can beat a jedi even with a kenetic weapon, you just cant do enough damage. Jedi with defender and psg's kill energy weapons, if psg's are armor, why do jedi get to wear them?

Well since your a rifleman/bh have u used aim n very high pyro against them? Seriously. I was hurting this one Mdef pretty well using that combo. My shots either hit or were blocked. No misses.

Just use a Nm SLugthrower. those hurt pretty bad.
And im sorry The jedi dont just lie down and let you shoot them. Personaly i dont think its fair you can ADK a full suit of 7000+ against energy and armorbreak protection on armor.

LoL. Dont wear RIS on my bh. Dont like the look. Prefer Ubese n tantel. N I support our wpnsmiths n armorsmiths. I dont ADK my wpns.

i am master BH Master Carb 4000 CM and i hit non defenders for around 700-800 a shot and defenders for 300-400 a shot....
so yea you can do the damage, i know i can with a carb

I use a energy rifle and Im not a CM and I do alright. It's not so much about doing damage as it is wearing down there force or mind.

Yup that is the key.
But they should not be able to use PSGs... as they are armor.

If you find you dont succeed, why not switch to a kinetic rifle? It may not have the high dps, but less damage will be negated. Just my 2 cents worth.

A 12% speed sliced LD1 will hit around 580ish DPS

I use my kinetic rifle against the Jedi. More damage gets in.
It's not that they are pointless, as you say. Jedi are stacked against energy resist. The fact that you are complaining about this tells us that you know little about your foes.
