Thread: Old BH Needs Help
My targets have a way of beeing ready for a BH to come for them.. Usually they ask "you here for me".. so much for my surprice attack. If I cant surprise the jedi, I start out with paralyze, use my debuffs, when I run as far as I can before paralyze breaks.. I will when try to root my enemy, if it fails I try kd, apply the CM dots and run around him, shooting till I cant shoot no more lol.. Basicly waiting for him to screw up or just wear out his force.. If its a master defender, there are only one way out and thats wear out his force ![]()
The things I concentrate on is keeping my dots on my target and never let the combat speed debuff run out. When they come up close I always use my duelist stance..
Tbh, its just about getting the practice for this, whatever template you go for, you will get it right eventually ![]()
Best place to pick up your missions is in kaadara, always some afk buffers there.
Yeah i use Kaadara..
What are good stats on a Scatter pistol?
And which Debuffs are most important to use?

I use a FWG5 pistol with 370-966 dmg and 48 sac (with sac pup). I would say a scatter needs something close to that.
As for debuffs, the -40 combat speed is the most important, without that any pre-cu jedi with a good saber will take away your health faster than you can heal up. Also the electrolyte (I think thats the word), that keeps them at a good distance and saber throw is not that deadly as the other moves they got ![]()
I can give you a general idea, but it takes a lot of planning and resources. You wont kill people fresh off mastering a new profession. And dont be afraid to lose, because that's the quickest way to learn.
For MCM, thyroid rupture is the most important thing. And something you should always keep an eye for. If it drops, reapply it.
After that, depending on the jedi, traumatize is your second debuff. 98% of the jedi you fight will use up their mind healing. The other 2% are your alpha Jedi, they hit so fast and their defenses are so good they can go with using stims alone. Even though they have healing, they only use it in emergencies. For those jedi traumatize is a waste, but like I said 98% of the jedi you face will use mind so traumatize is always good.
Hemorrhage is up to you. Some people use it to lessen damage. Others dont. I personally do. But it's not high on my list, so towards the end of the fight if my mind is low I wont reapply this.
Many MCM chain this at the start via paralyze. Paralyze >>> Thyroid rupture >>> Traumatize >>> Hemorrhage.
After that apply your dots and try to keep your mind at a relatively safe level.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Those are your basics, the rest you wont be able to do until you fight many, many, Jedi. These things can only come with experience. But I'll list some of the things I have to keep an eye for. These things I do, and may or may not help you.
- root and knockdown on a macro timer. Italerts you to when you can use it again... Rooting allows me to regen mind a bit faster, as the only attack Jedi can use is saber throw. Knockdown allows my root to land a bit easier.
- Timing paralyze to interrupt macro. Particually force aura, or force valor.
- Watching all debuffs to make sure I reapply them.
- Watching HAM bars and switching guns depending on situation.
- Checking food, making sure I have room for exo or bliels. And deutreium pyro.
- Taking deep breaths whenever using knockdown recovery, so you dont get hit with a knockdown bug.
- Making sure my droid stays alive and out of range of those AOE attacks.
- Checking my target to make sure he's not about to run. Getting snare or root ready if it looks like he will.
