Thread: Bounty Hunter and Commando?

I originally picked up commando as my first profession cause I loved the grenades and heavy weapons, then after realizing how many jedi there are now (just got back in the game 2 weeks ago) I picked up BH so I could maybe weed out the population a bit. I just need Investigation 4 and then I'm gonna be master bouny hunter.
Now because of all the basic professions I will have almost no skill points left over. Also I get no crowd control moves which are probobly needed to keep jedi away if you dont have points for good med professions.
Just today I got a proton carbine and was thinking about dropping commando for carbineer. Is MBH + Master Commando worthless against jedi? Should I justdrop Commando and get Carbineer while there is still double exp?

not neccessarily that it is worthless, but it appears that with only an assualt armor cert, you will come up short when facing a jedi. you should get something with energy armor cert, since jedi are what you will face for the most part.

I myself am carbineer/mbh and it works out quite nicely for pvp and pve both....I had a friend try out mbh/master commando, and aside from the assault armor problem, commando weapons just dont do enough dmg to do them justice.
mbh/master commando does sound good in theory, but in practice it just doesn't work out too well.
