Totally agree!

It was the gimpedness of having to spend 225(iirc) SP for MBH that made people actually use their brain to become succesfull hunters. The old school BH i know are among the best players in pve and pvp. We have built up tactics, intelligence (remember trying to complete a bounty without working droids?) and a lot of patience. Of course without a name for missions now a lot of our well researched information is hard to use, and the sheer volume of jedi makes it difficult to keep up with all their templates, guilds, habits, etc. To counter this we now have a lot more options for our own templates and tacticsalso with our loot, a way to keep us in shiny new gear

I remember running to a mark before I realised Num Lock had any importance...... oops.

Crap I remember not having Player cities, mounts or speeders.

I remember on LOK running in circles trying to catch my mark and finally the b@st@rd would be by the mountain! CHASING HIM ON FOOT!

Right now we have it so easy its rediculous. I remember throwing up my Master Bounty Hunter tags and people were bowing in respect because our profession was so difficult!

I remember going from the kings of PVP to the Jokes of the Galaxy. Id have to say we have seen lots of improvement from then to now and this new loot crap has me going all the time now. Its actually fun and almost addicting to go hunt bounties. Sorta like going to a slot machine, putting in a quarter and seeing what you get.

He was back on Ahazi for a month or so just after the CU, still pointing out the good and bad in the game

i remember the orginal LLC.. 140 damage and slow as hell unless you were laying down then it fired non stop...

i remember getting 50 points per mission..lol

i remember trying to head off a mark on lok and i remember the first time i went to the imperial base down there.. thinking shouldnt this have a star port in it..lol

ahh the good ole days of bh

also, do you guys remember the NPC jedi marks.. the droids didnt work.. but i think those missions could have rocked..

When holo grinded I did bh but right after they implemented speeders. My hat's off to you guys.

Anyone remember a saying/sig that read "Jedi call each other Master, Bounty Hunters call each other Brother"? I miss that sense of being part of something An elite, the few, the hated, the professionals, we werepopulation control and we did the galaxies dirty work with pride.

Congrats man i hit my 2 year mark back in the beginning of August. I totally agree with you, I have seen it all as an mbh.

Ahh the good ole days. I started SWG June 28th, 2003. I wanted to be a BH from the start and became one back when you had to master scout and marksman. Then Inventigation with no mounts or vehicles. Playing with HLC's was a lot of fun with a fellow BH friend of mine. I remember getting respect for just having novice when I first became a BH. Roaming around Lok was fun as well, and Dant, and Endor, and all the adventure worlds when it was suicide to go without a couple friends. I went after one Pre-Pub 9 Jedi, back when they could wear Comp and had those glow bats that would kill you in 2-3 hits 9 of us couldn't take one down, as it was a brand new experience for us all. Then when everyone went around buffed catching a jedi in a buff line for an easy kill. Anyway enough of the past, it won't be coming back so it's time to move on and make the best of what we have, and BH doesn't really have it bad atm, at least not in my opinion.
