I tried this once with a friend. Same payout, same faction. Turns out they were 2 different Jedi. This is by no means a conclusive study, just sharing my experience.

Okay thank you. They must have different payout brakets that multiple Jedi can be thrown into. When the server is about to restart though I noticed that if I used the same payout I got the same Jedi's mission which was odd.

I believe the changes made to the bounty hunter system were put in place to eliminate hunting a specific Jedi over and over. (I don't think that has anything to do with holding a Jedi's mission for a couple days BTW to ensure completion, but instead picking the exact mission up multiple times in a row if you keep failing it).
In any case, it seems that mission payout still works for finding Jedi on the terminals. Obviously you can't target a specific Jedi by name, but multiple BH's could feasilbly geta specific (but unknown) Jedi's mission. I haven't tried it in a group yet, but I'm pretty sure the payout remains the same until the Jedi levels, is hunted again, or visibility wears off. That being said it seems bounty hunters are still be able to "group" to take missions, even though they won't be able to heal each other etc. due to Jedi-BH combat lockout,or know for *certain* that they have the same bounty until they arrive in the area.
