At MSL you are just making up for the loss of damage you could have dealt being any other elite profession.

Dunno about that. By using Blaze of Glory with Advanced Critical Shot, I think I'll be dealing the most damage possible, according to the forum reports I'm reading. In fact, the damage looks to be incredible.


I wanna experience that before it's nerfed.

What about when the jedi tanks you, avoids your LOS and makes you get close? Good luck tanking him...

Well he would have a devisating alpha strike ability, if he attacks properly healing would be a non issue.

From my experience, if you as a BH catch teh jedi by surprise, you will usually win, even if they are master defender templates, because they get off to a bad start and don't get up everything fast enough. I find that even as a master carbineer, with no SL buffs i can take out jedi in less then 10 seconds if i come in gun's blazing when they don't expect me or notice me.

On the other hand, if the jedi does either A) see you coming, or B) doesn't panic and get's up everything quickly, you will be in for a very long fight(unless you can do mega dmg, or they don't know what they are doing)

Simply put, even with a huge alpha strike ability, unless you can almost insta incap in one shot, any jedi that doesn't panic, and those that see you coming will not be hurt by a SL template. Most jedi that i know carry around Ruby and Stims because jedi healing sucks. Another thing that is smart for jedi(double masteries that is) to do is to pick up medic 0200 instead of a 2nd tree in healing because you then have 3 heals, 1 from jedi(1500) and 2 from medic with good healing as well as long as the jedi has good Healing eff clothes. On top of that they can use stim's. That makes jedi more difficult to kill then you can possibly imagine. In fact, if you go up against a master defender, master sabers, Enhancer 3000 Medic 0210 they have some amazing healing capability, plus some of the best specials from enhancer.

Personally, i won't be putting SL in my template, i have issues with Sl's giving themselves buffs. In my opinion SL's should only give others in the group buffs(as they are leaders, leaders depend on their groups) and if there is more then one SL in the group the whole group should get hinderences because multiple leaders never works(except for the SL's of course as they don't get the bonus's either, they ignore the other leader ) Of course making it so only the leader of the group's SL buffs take place would fix that problem too. SL's will probably get a nerf very shortly because of whining(in general, not just from jedi or BH's, i'm sure PvP'ers will start whining pretty good too when some insane TKM/Swordy tank with an amazing power hammer get's those buffs) I hope instead they give SL's some stuff like what i mentioned to limit them a bit, without taking away their power(which they need to have).

Also, i don't think BH should be able to gorup when hunting Jedi marks, would solve BH being over powered against jedi too..... either that or give jedi some power back.

Healing costs too much HAM now to use. If you use it, you die. Much better to kill quickly instead.


I have a deactivated account that I could activate and do this template. Thoughts?

They changed heals back to its original form...without the upped action cost if thats what your speaking of.


Try to get some healing tapes and bio clothing. Don't be healing 500 damage with a 1500-2k heal.



That template will have alot of Ranged Def (which is good) but if you want more up frontal damage I would go:


MBH MSL Rifles 4000 Medic 0010


That will give you the damage you want plus bacta shot and 10 Healing Efficiency. Bio clothing will put that up to about 50 HE mod for 750 heals. Add some Ranged Speed and Healing Efficiency tapes and you should be well off.

Ahh, those high healing costs didn't last long, did they, lol.


Yeah, I prefer Sniper Shot to Conceal Shot, too. But I'm figuring that I can just use my MBH critical shot, combined with the MSL buffs, and be better off just taking more Ranged Defense.


Dunno, but I'm looking forward to experimenting with MSL.

Blaze is nice for the added CHANCE to score a big critical, but that's all it is. A chance.



IMHO, you'd do better to use Volley Fire, and KNOW that a good portion of your attack is going to bypass their armor.

With that I have over 600 ACC, but with diminishing returns, thats kinda useless If I can hit a mdef with that, and not miss. Yes, you can miss with that and be screwed, then woot!
