Man, I am pretty new to the game, but I just love BH. I am 2-3-4-4 with about 50k of carbine xp left and about 2k inv. xp before levelling.

I was a bit nervous about levelling up in investigation so I took the advice offered here and maxed out xp at 10k. Now that I am doing off-planet missions I am having so much more fun. I actually travel. I used to just stay on Naboo and Tatooine so I could grind my weapons xp, but now I go all over the place.

Heck, I'll even check to see if there is a POI close by after taking out my mark.

All of this is say that I really love the profession that I have CHOSEN. There just seems to be so much negativity surrounding the BH profession. I love it. I have had only one mission where I couldn't find and eliminate the mark. And that was probably just because it was getting late and I was getting tired (you know it's late when you fall asleep in RL waiting for a shuttle in-game LOL)

Anyway, I love being a BH and can't wait for a day when player bounties are a reality.

You soon will realize this board has a mob mentality, don't let it get to you. I have fun as a MBH. And that is what is important in a game, not what several strangers ranting on a message board have to say.

I have enjoyed the game more as a BH than any other profession to date - it's the fun of the chase, looking forward to jedi hunts and player bounties if they are ever introduced.

Welcome to the profession! May your hunts be profitable and your name feared!

I've been a bounty hunter for 7 months and I've absolutely loved it. I took my time to level up to Master,exploring other aspects of the game. Investigation wasn't too bad for me, I really enjoyed it.

Although we have some valid complaints, most of the morons in here are those that think we should be soldiers rather then bounty hunters. Don't get them discourage you.

BH is a good profession. It's so nice i did it twice. It's aWHOLE lot easier now. Investigation use to be alittle more bugged plus no speeders or player cities to cut time in getting to the mark. Investigation 4 alone use to take 130 missions now its 40 missions. So count your blessings you have italot easier then the BHs before you (I feel like im channeling my Grandfather).

As for the negativity:

Alot of the problems from within the BH profession are from ppl expecting Bounty Hunter's to be like the characters in the movies.

BHs seeing what another profession has and wanting that too (defenses, specials, etc).

Outside professions look at what BHs have and they want that (High accuracy and speed, specials, weapons. etc)

Please remember:

The forums are good for information (Investigation tips, Spynet locations, etc).

They are not the place to get someones opinion (why BHs should have this or that, We Suck, I should be able to solo everything, etc)

I am a MBH/MCH and I am finding alot of babies near my npc marks.Last night a stoneskin hanadak baby !! was 50 meters away.He also has lightning reflexes 3.Now if only I can get one to lead me to a baby bull rancor lol.On a side note--endor was full of babies last night and I filled my datapad with specials that i want to learn
