Thread: template question...
Ok im alreayd TKM and im working towards Master Fencer...i was wondering if i should go up the Defensive lines of pistoleer or just get master brawler...any suggestions are appreciated
For the medic side, 1.0.4.0 works well for me, i can still complete heal my pool with some good D stims.
Scout is helpful, but if youre a melee pvp'r you will try to avoin runnin around in terrain, use houses etc to make the bloodthirsty ranged players come to you and give em a good smack to the ground.
and if some rifleman is camping you, a newbie pet can help you alot.
Happend to me once when i was hunting imps in Bestine.
A rifleman spottet me, i got behind some cover, he got good range and proned.. waiting for me.
I already had my pet around, so i sent pet first, and while he got surprised by the pet and attacked it, i burst ran to him and smacked him down.
To sum it up, dont use to much points on scout. ![]()
Fora long time, I didn't want to give up terrain negotiation or medic. But remember, for most of the time this game has been live, you had to run everywhwere. Travel is much easier withmounts, vehicles, and player cities with shuttles.
It is a pain When you are in a hilly area. You choices of directions in which to run are pretty limited. You can only burst run for so long. But an advantage is that you have a range of up to 64m with your pistol and very good power up close. On balance, I believe it was worth the sacrifice.
At master smuggler you will gain a bonus to slicing. Weapons and armor effectiveness will have a range of 15% - 35% (may get a rare one lower than the min.) and armor encumberance of 15% - 45%. You will also lose only half the FP when you die in PvPand a 15%(?) discount on faction purchases. You also get another smuggler money maker in buying and selling faction points. However, you have to be a Colonel to get the maximum benefit. You also get the spice tree. Although some have seen a reduction in sales, spices can still be profitable.

Thanks alot guys for your help, also wondering bout how you sell the faction points?
I'll tell you how *I* sell faction points...
With a great big freaking grin wider than Kaadara Bay, thats how *I* do it
The first time I made more profit in 30 mins of running a FP sales macro than 2 weeks of being a Master Weaponsmith I knew I'd made the smart move ditching MWS for Smuggler, and yet I only did it at first to cherrypick better sliced guns (I'm a pistols freak, I wanted the best, went MWS and found out the smugglers all had better pistols than me
Sometimes I feel a little guilty about taking profit from my faction, then I remember exactly what it is I do with all that money... I distribute it around, a lot
I like to tip, and depending on the attitudes around me I might tip 1k, 10k or 100k - just for the hell of it. I buy things like Krayt weapons and drop them off as a gift to some unexpecting newbie I see out killing animals, try that one I dare you, you'll grin for weeks, and there is NOTHING like someone stopping you saying "Do you remember me?" (I usually don't) I say "Sure." /grin anyway & they respond "You really helped me out about 2 months ago, I want to say thanks" and then getting whatever you tipped them BACK via bank tip to go redistribute once again.
I may have made much much more as a Smuggler than I ever would have as MWS via FP sales, however I actually have LESS personal wealth, because I've found that if it's sitting in my bank accumulating I feel like I'm cheating the Smuggler live fast die young ethos, better to have bought some favour all over the galaxy, than to be rich yet without aid, in whatever form you *may* need in the future.
I think of it as an investment
Oh, you wanted to know *how* to sell FP, well, it's all in Drevens great "How to sell Faction Points" stickied at the top of the forum
