Thread: An Idea to Enhance the Bh/Jedi bounty relationship

What if when a bh attacks a special forces jedi *either faction*, as long as said bh is factioned him/herself opposite they were declared overt. Now before everyone throws the "well then every jedi will go overt" keep this in mind. On missions which are like this the hunter would be able to bring friends with them to help defeat the said jedi. Also in turn the jedis special forces friends could help as well.
To make it fair orginizational wise for both parties, the bh terms would show the jedis that are currently special forces. (this way even if a jedi always travels around with a bunch of sf buddys the bh can have his own buddys ready and able to aidin the fight. This would make for an amazing fun factor to the bh/jedi hunt, and also to the gcw as a whole, plus lower lag pvp skirmishs as in most cases,unless their was already a major pvp battle going on they would be smaller scale equaling less lag

. Some food for thought, as to why this would also make sense as far as the bh being made overt if not already, if their opposite faction. You make an attempt on any ranking officer of a military i would imagine that any one of same said military would assist one of their own. More to the point, now an opposite faction bh attacking a currently warring jedi is brought into the war, as i would think anyone jumping in a battle field would get shot at 
Keep in mind now, a non factioned bh would not suffer being declared overt yet would still be allowed to attack the sf as the normal current bh system works. This way for those that do not wish to be involved in factioned combatcould continue their one on one fights.

Obviously their would be some more details to work into a system change like this, but think of the fun all partys could have. I know alot of bh'ers out their (my second account being one of them) that would love to group hunt again, as well as jedis friends that would like to be able to help them. Take into account also before everyone says jedis would all pal around together, the bhs themselves could bring their own jedi friends for these fights. Oh and of course mission payouts could be split etc.
Well theirs the idea anyway, think this could be something special andmake the bh/jedi relationship one of the best mechanics for all, and stimulate some of the best gcw battles imaginable.

I think this sounds like a wonderful idea. THis will help the GCW not only with bh/ jedi but everybody. Also if a bh wants to solo anything he can check the terms for non spec forc players. This wouldn't be seen as catering to bh or jedi but would be seen as something for all profs. Artisans can craft things that will be use for this. (PSG', armor weapons battle droids etc). And others can help too.

Can you say Pre CU Jedi Knight Perma Overt Status?
You must be new to the BH profession.
As for the other ideas? I'm shocked you would like to be tef'd overt from attacking a SF Jedi. In most those cases the Jedi will have 2-3 times in numbers against ya SF-Non SF people.

Before I even read the rest of this post I can already say this idea is not well thought out and will never work. If they system did get implemented I would just make sure I always got Imperial Faction to go back Imperial, drop to neutral when I hunt Jedi and bring my overt friends. Because then I'll be able to kill the overt Jedi with a bunch of overts whacking on him without worrying about the other overts he is with.
P.S. Oh wait, I can do that now without going Neutral and just staying On leave...Lol.
