I have just become a mbh and i was just wondering the best way to track a jedi and get the drop on him without him being aware. Obviously its important to keep ur distance so if anyone can help me I would appreciate it. Also, what are the attacks some of you have had good success with while fighting a jedi. Thanks again for the help

Drop all BH skills and take up Musician or Dancer, you will enjoy it alot more. Hard to get the drop on a Jedi when they don't leave their house.

Well I've got a few suggestions, they may not all apply to you but then they may help somebody anyways.

1. No MBH title...I've seen way too many people with it...BH's are supposed to be sneaky

2. Dont walk around with your scatter/proton carb/heavy lightning rifle out. Thats a dead givaway of an MBH.

3. Same with the RIS armor, combat medic title, and scatter/proton/HLR

4. If you mark is hunting, wait until they stop doing lairs and sit down to meditate and regen force-you will do much better if they are low on force

5. If your mark is in the starport/etc. wait and see if they duel somebody. Or you can just wait for a while until it looks like they are preoccupied somehow.

I can't think of anything else atm, but that should be a good start.

another tip for ya is follow your mark at a distance and hit them during there inital attack on the lair if your mark is the one tanking the pikets or what ever there hunting will make it easy kill all beeing if they dont watch there radar and map all the time

From what I've experienced, the radar is no good further than 256m. Do your best to track further than that if you can keep them tracked properly. In a recon scan, keep them targeted so you can try to keep tabs on their ham, and be wary of their group members.

Good tips above. Also, I did some searching on this forum and found some macros. You can get macros that will allow you to fully equip your armor and food with the press of a button. Nothing like walking towards your mark in casual wear and a smile...then press a button and you have your AB sliced 8K energy resist armor onand all foods eaten.

i was thinking using cover then crawling to them would be cool. maybe not effective but nontheless cool and sneaky.

yes, if you have the time, patience, and requisite skills in rifleman - you can use the poor man's cloak.

Be aware that you need to hit prone and cover outside the range of the jedi's radar. For particularly dangerous marks i will hit prone at 400-500m. While in cover you can slowly crawl your way towards the mark - praying that no group members, the mark, or any npc or animals get within 20m of you and reveal you automatically. Also pray that when you hit the 65 m range that the terrain will offer you a shot.

It doesn't often work - during your approach anything can ruin it...but when it works - man it works. Popping up on a jedi's radar less then 70 meters from them with a knockdown and a sniper shot has never failed to get an explitive out of my mark - and a hearty congrats from the jedi regardless of whether i win in the long haul or not.

It has worked in the past for me, just a slow prospect.
