The devs should really consider increasing the XP required to go up the Investigation Branch. As it is now this grind is way to easy and there are way to many noob MBHs that power grind in week.
Doubling the XP required should correct the Noobness of the BH profession.
In fact I think people should be required to master at least 1 elite profession before unlocking the Novice BH profession.

Ha, now even bh's are making now that i've got itmake it harder to get posts

We were all noobs at one point in time.

so they should make it more work? the investigation grind sucked pretty bad back in the day... and remember this is a game. people play for FUN. BH is just another ranged profession like any other in the game, aside from having our own content and flavor. the respec was bad, but the grind like it is isn't. Just because we "had to do it uphill on fire" doesn't mean it always has to be that way. Maybe they should make a few other profs more attractive *cough* smuggler *cough* instead of making another one more difficult.
Not really sure what the "noobness" is you are refering too...once anyone has used our droids on a few investigation missions they've pretty much mastered chasing a waypoint.

Actually this post was in response to some of the BH trolls in the Force Sensitive fourm.
The FS noobs just got fracked by the nerf wookie and they did not even receive a kiss. 
Also the return of the solo grind is coming.

Still after 3 months of the solo grind I was only able to half way temp out my toon.

I actually agree with this comment. Ive grinded bh 4 times now (i no, im stoopid) for various reasons and currently it is way easier than when i had to walk each mission. Im by no means saying it should be as hard as it was when mounts let alone swoops werent around, but currently i can grind all my investigation xp in only 2 days with the assistance of a single friend. If we power gammed it i could even grind it all in a single day! I would personally say lower the mission xp a little, and make base slicing xp relative to the difficulty of the base.

Investigation is fine. It's balanced with what other professions have to go through of the combat classes. BH requiresmore types of xp then any other combat class. Why should the bh grind be any longer than the pistoleer grind or the rifleman grind or the smuggler grind? It's called balance. The xp is fine.

I love the grind mentality. "Make it harder to get!!!" Why? IMO, it should be relatively easy to get any profession besides Jedi. SWG should be more about your skill with a profession than how long it took you to get it. It doesn't matter if you respecced or if you had to walk to Wayfar from Bestine before there were speeders, and it was uphill both ways... if you're good as an MBH, you're good, and that's what's important.

I agree, change it! Make it harder, it only took me 2.5 days to finish the tree. I felt like I accomplished nothing.
I think it should be like this:
Box1 - 10000, Box2 - 50000, Box3 - 200000, Box4 - 500000, make master require 1 million Inv XP too , not combat.
Also half the rate in which to earn it, then BH would be fun to grind.

The accomplishment of the profession is how well you do with it, not how long/hard it took to get it...

Yup considering the Combat XP was changed from 3:1 to 30:1 and with the new XP grind that is comming you will get 25 FS XP per bol.

I can't count how many timesI see a postcryingabout newb's, thenI see the guy in game and he has all of 20 badges (mostly all the FSbadges, /snicker)and onlytwoeliteprofessions mastered.
The original poster better not have only masteredtwo elite professions before he writes something like that! I haveFour ( Commando, TKA, Carbineer, MBH )and I'm about to add numberFIVE to my list. That's not counting my basic profession badges ofMedic, Scout, Marksman. On top of thatI have over 50 exploration badges andfour content badges with the fifth in work.
We were all newb's once, why not try helping them out rather than S***ting on them? LOL oh.....i forgot some of these guys are too Uberleet to have CL10 with no badgestagging along inthere group!These Kids need to grow up.
