Thread: To all who wants cloak nerfed
If a jedi kills a BH with the help of improved force aura (granted at 0040 defender), it's fine. Do you want it nerfed? No. Do you want it moved to the master box? No.
If a jedi kills a BH with the help of improved force valor (granted at 0004 defender), it's fine. Do you want it nerfed? No. Do you want it moved to the master box? No.
If a jedi kills a BH with the help of improved force armor (granted at 0400 enhancer), it's fine. Do you want it nerfed? No. Do you want it moved to the master box? No.
If a jedi kills a BH with the help of advanced force heal (granted at 4000 healer), it's fine. Do you want it nerfed? No. Do you want it moved to the master box? No.
If a jedi kills a BH with the help of improved saber armorbreak and improved saber powerattack (granted at 0400 saber), it's fine. Do you want it nerfed? No. Do you want it moved to the master box? No.
If a jedi kills a BH with the help of a finely constructed saber and saberthrow (granted at 0004 saber and a +25 exp clothing possibly), it's fine. Do you want it nerfed? No. Do you want it moved to the master box? No.
If a jedi runs away from a BH by using force run 2 (granted at 4000 enhancer), it's fine. Do you want it nerfed? No. Do you want it moved to the master box? No.
If a jedi runs away from a BH by using force cloak (granted at 0400 powers), it's a retarded cheap move that makes all jedi inhonorable and that ruins your gameplay. Do you want it nerfed? Yes. Do you want it moved to the master box? Yes.

I don't get it. How is it an I WIN button? Do I kill the BH by it? Do I remove myself from the terminals by it? Do I make the BH lose my mission by it? No no no. As I mentioned in my post, FR2 is the same runaway ability (at least it was until the great vehicle instant-call patch), so what the hell is wrong?
Now Cloak is being used, again by both sides, in the same way as FD was and if we are not careful it will recieve the same treatment and Mpowers will recieve a short sharp kick to our already red swollen nads and personally id like kids someday so move it to Mpowers sooner rather than later.

In order to pick up cloak you need to drop other things like defenses. People with cloak have a gimped template and are some of the weakest jedi's out there. Sure its annoying and an easy escape, but cloak alone does NOT make a jedi any tougher. It simply gives them a suprise attack, an easy escape, and good spy abilities (and at the price of either their defensive or offensive abilities).
Frequently with my BH I kill them in less then 10 seconds. They go down fast. Its unfortunate when they escape, but it would be the same resultif they got away withforce run.

I have been sat in Theed and 3 overt Rebels have literally just appeared out of thin air and ganked someone who had recently gone overt nearby. As soon as they killed said Imperial they disappeared again, waiting for the next victim.
If you can't see how that is more influential in PvP than anything in any of the other trees then you need your head examined, and the fact it is attainable from ONE line in Powers just makes it completely unbalanced.
To use your analogy, it would be like Aura alone making someone impossible to kill, or Power Attack in LS being a one-shot killer, or Advanced Force Heal healing all damage, states and debuffs.
If it were moved to MPowers, all of the ganking would disappear overnight - plus MBHs would actually have a much lower ratio of Jedi who cloak n' run as soon as they appear (although I still would, because I'd still be MPowers

You make it sound like you have to drop defences completely. Sure people are forfeiting one line from LS or Def or whatever to get it, but as studies elsewhere have proven - you don't even need MLS or MDef to achieve almost (or ~90%) of the same damage output and defensive capability.
With just 0404 LS and 4040 Def/0400 Enh for example, you'd have almost everything that mattered in power/defence, which would leave more than enough skillpoints to pick up 0400 Powers.
