Im master Pikes with master BH, just now noticed that I can stack CoB and Duelist Stance by quickly switching to a ranged weapon an then switching back, giving me double the defense.I have since created a macro to do this for me. Is that considered an exploit?

its perfectly possible - but you do realise that the defence mod stacking is not really very useful vs a saber as youll hardly mitigate any damage - the very best you could do (with 750def more than the jedis acc) is reduce the jedi to hit with his min dam rather than closer to the max. stacking this probably saves you 50 dam per hit maximum as the jedis acc probably starts comparable to your defence

Yeah, duelist stance is a waste of an action round in PvP. Maybe if the damage reflected back was a percentage, intead of just 25 it would be worth using.

You answered your own question.
You are required to switch to an appropriate weapon to use a skill which persists after you change weapons. The new weapon is not one which would be allowed on one skill although you can use a different skill while it's equiped. This action permits a player to use two different skills which are associated with a specific weapon type. You are only able to call -and- stack both skills if you switch the weapons back and forth.
This is obvious to be a work around to creat or allow for skills to stack which were not intended to. If the skills were made to stack you would not need to switch the weapons to use each skill and would be able to use both skills with a single weapon. Being that a player is not able to use both skills without switching weapon types it supports the fact that this was not intended and could be deemed as a workaround permitting benefits which were not intended thus being labled as an exploit.
I would percieve this as an exploit. The only way to know is to tell everyone how to do it and wait to see if threads get deleted.
You should post this on all the appropriate forums for more feedback.

Forgot:
Jedi can use this if they switch to a melee weapon, CoB,then back to a saber. The advantage toa Jedi is very nice and grants a ver nice benefit.
