ok i respeced to bh, cause i wanted a challenge

all the bhs that ever came for me on my jedi were really no challenge

except for a couple that were just a little harder to put down, but by no means were they difficult

i see bhs attack jedis all the time and see them defeated alot

so i was bored with my alt and running a shop scene and decided to go bh

now bh was my first proffesion i ever did, but back then you had to have master marksmen

and not alot of skill points to devote towards defenses

now the problem is with putting a template together with the attacks you want and being ahigh enough cl to fight a jedi

my first template that i wanted but then found out i would end up being a level 66

would have in it armor break from swords and some doc for speed buff,

so i settled for respecing to master bh/master swords, and some medic

now i was thinking that this might be an ok temp, i could put armor break on then eat parwan cake to get away and

blast away, some of my shots i was doing 700 damage on master defenders

but this was testing out on friends

i took a few missions and got beat pretty badly and was really ashamed of myself but had fun at the same time

so now i grind out master bh/master cm/ 003 pistols and a couple boxed in medic for extra healing eff

i practiced on a maseter defender and did alot better but the damage output is just to low from my pistol

so i started thinking of maybe another template, and this will bring my cl down alot

which is why i am posting this thread

what are the calculations for pvp for penalties on your cl

like if im a level 66 shooting at a level 80 how much less damage am i gonna do to him cause of my cl

and how much more damage is he gonna do to me cause of my cl

If I could dig up the durned post that had the math involved, I would... but I can't seem to find it. Anyway, I think the answer would be that a CL66 template vs. a CL80 template is sure suicide. If I'm not mistaken, a CL66 would con GRAY to a CL80.

It was my understanding that CL does not matter in PvP, only in PvE.

CL only mean healthpoints in PvP. If you can get the Offensive and Defensive Mods high enough to compensate for your lack of health then it would be a viable template. CL is only a factor in PvE combat, other than the fact that you lack health and generally lower cls have fewer useful mods.


If i could find the post I would clicky it, but there was a case of a CL9 owning CL40+ in duels. Turned out he had a T21 rifle that missed the balancing and had no certification requirements, hence he easily destroyed people well above his cl...

k thanks for the info guys, i think im gonna try this template out ive been thinking of


seems like with most bh templates you pretty much gotta out last the jedi till he runs out of force, or mind which


i dont wanna do


with this template im gonna try out would put me at lvl 72 but doesnt sound like that will matter cept for the lower


health issue
