Thread: Trando rifle or Lightning Rifle??????

Anyway, if you must go with a rifle, go with the Lightning Rifle. The Elemental damage really helps, so I hear.
LOL yeah Rikster' made my laser with 351 base DPS so i'm gonna go back to Ral/Rik again for this one. really starting to lean more towards lightning rifle...

He's not asking about a Light Lightning Cannon. He's asking about a Heavy Lighting Rifle. Which is a master BH rifle.
Is the heavy craftable? If it is, I didn't know that. But it's still valid questions I have.

Yes the Heavy Lightning Rifle is craftable and it does count as a Rifle. I would recommend going with a Heavy Lightning Rifle as the Elemental Damage being tacked on will in effect raise your minimum damage. If hunting Jedi you'll find your Minimum Damage to come into play much more often than max due to their high defenses. Of course if you can find a Trandoshan Rifle that has considerably more minimum damage than the HLR I'd go with it.
The key whenever choosing your Rifle should be Speed, Minimum Damage, and SAC costs. It shouldn't be too hard to find a weapon that is SAC capped as well as capped (or darn near so) on damage. If you can gather the enhanced power cells for yourself along with some good speed reducing scopes then you should be able to get one killer HLR crafted.

Hmm. I did not know that. I will inquire with my neighborhood weaponsmith on the HLR's.
If you, or anyone else has information, what are the max caps for damage, speed, sac, and wound for the HLR's.

T21s are the move over rated rifles in the game. Your accuracy on this thing is only 1. :chuckles: I prefer the Trando Rifle over anything I have but the HLR is also a nice weapon. My Trando is 2.35speed 1184 damage 66 Accuracy 86 SAC. I still don't understand why anyone would use a T21 over an Advanced laser Rifle, Trando or HLR. Doesn't make any sense to me.
