Thread: Is there a way to solo Krayts without having Pistoleer skills?

If you have Crippling Shot from Carbines, that's all you should need. Stopping Shot is really just a bonus, not a necessity.

If you miss a +snare+ or +root+ you best just bring out the Salt cause you will be future Krayt Droppings and the next guy to kill the Krayt may loot your weapon lol

Even if the root and snare missed, as a MBH/Carbineer, he has two KD shots on different timers he can use. And if the blaster gods hate him that much and they miss too then Burst Run is your friend.

I can solo all krayt types but ancient/grand as a MBH/M Rifles. Use snare and KD to keep your distance up and just kite. I have 80m range too but thats more of a safety cushion that a must.

I just don't know how it will be with publish 19...... well... I'll still continu to hunt with a smugler.... concution is a must and duo them is always faster they regen less so in total you get far more loot.(I'm Mbh Mcarab squadleader 0401 fs: combat 1400 reflex 0040 and craft 4000)
god I love My new krayt carabine near maxed in all... it help a lot to hunt.

As in the title, is it poss to solo krayts with having MBH / a bit of CM and Carb?

so with a MBH/MCarbs/CM4xxx it would be possible to hunt krayts solo?

I donno what happened, but I used to turn all Krayts into my little play things, Ancients, Grands, Adolescents, it didn't matter, if it was a Krayt, I could beat it with no problem.
Lately though, their regen has gone through the roof, their mitigation is huge, they have greater social aggro, and they run much faster.
I can only really take out adolescents now, very frustrating.
For the record, I'm a Master Pistoleer/Master Marksman/Master Bounty Hunter.

Just gotta know how to pull them. I.E. Concealshot works everytime (if you know how to use it properly). Krayt loot should drop a little bit since you won't be able to use concussion and them slam the f out of them. It will just take a little more skill. But just wait til the -Retreat- cries come up again.

as mbh/mc/cmxxx4 i solo them all the time
the two minute snare from cm is great, stacked with cripplling shot they hardly move. if they get too close, one of the two kd's will stick.
