One would think that paying customers are listened to, but we are just cogs in SOE's revenue machine. You can't change the machine's output, you must change machines.

LOL this is so true. I mean the out-pouring of anti-CU posts were huge. It changed nothing. I think sales actually did increase over it, and I guess that was SOE's intention.

Basically, nothing any of us, even as a large angry ready to quit playing group, does is going to change what SOE does.

For one thing the major issues for me, the LOS and the /duel /endduel exploit are being fixed, it just hasnt been done yet. SOE isnt explicitly heading in the direction of supporting exploits, they just have milestones and they are being forced by management to push things out while incomplete and untested. That is not the same as a chosen direction. The CSR's have said that the LOS exploit is known and is being fixed and will be in a publish or hotfix soon.

I mean, I've payed to play this game, only to constantly have my Bounty Hunting efforts undermined by horrible game mechanics.

The dev's are to blame, but moreso I think SOE managment.

Maybe we should come together as a community and begin an e-mail campaign?

Should we start a riot? I think I really really want to.

Great idea man! While you're at it, why not you go ahead and start a petition and see how far that goes?

Be loud and be proud!

No, but seriously, rioting won't help anything. Plus, I doubt this post will even remain on the boards very long. On top of that, I really don't think many people will join you as most sane people know without a doubt that rioting/protesting will not make anything better. It will only make things worse.

Think about it. You're a Dev. Your boss (aka SOE management) is mad because his customers are mad. Because he's mad and will eventually take it out on you, you will not want to do your job. You will want to quit. Or do a half-@ss job (aka the American way). Thus, you get a product you didn't want. You're mad, so you take it out on SOE. And the cycle continues.

Everyone is right here, we are the minority as Haden blackman once said, the people who are happy are playing the game.

Nope.

By acting mature you have a better chance of being heard.

Acting like a Child will get you nowhere.

E-mail campaign = decent mature Idea, Riot = childish temper tantrum.

Asides, you will most likely get banned and have you riot deleted as that is not something SOE wants on thier boards.

Yeah, I am a SOE Cheerleader too, so my opinion is Bias.

Well best way to get your voice heard, even thou they are going to do what they want, or what their bosses want them to do unfornately. Is either call Lucasarts talk to someone in charge, or do SOE's stupid email system lol
