Is it unreasonable to request that they add a "Target is now online" type function? This would keep Jedi from doing the on-again/off-again thing with any effacy. Simply put, if you have a contract on someone, and they come online, you should be notified. It doesn't make up for the fact that offline Jedi are still generating missions, but it's a start. Additionally it's a realistic feature to add since it's not possible to add a jedi's name to your friends list. A BH isn't going to automagically know when to launch a droid to find a Jedi because they won't know that the Jedi is online.

And if they tell you it's not feasible to do so, suggest they use the friends list in this way....

1) In the database, the Jedi's name is recorded (unique field obviously) and likely with a numeric unique field.

2)When a Jedi contract is accepted, it puts an entry into the friends list with the unique field that identifies the character in the database, as opposed to the name. It appends a"-1" (or some such combination that's NOT allowable by the character naming function) to the end of the field for later purposes.

3) When a BH looks at their friends list, any entry with a "-1" appended to the end (or some such combination that's NOT allowable by the character naming function) it simply doesn't display that entry.

4) The rest of the rules for friends are followed. When it comes time to display a mark that's come online, instead of their name, the "display_online" function would replace the name with "Target". It knows to do this because of the "-1" (or some such combination that's NOT allowable by the character naming function) appended to the end of the name.

Maybe it's a fight you've already fought, but if not, I think it would be a useful feature for BH's to have available to them.
