Thread: Jetpacks and Mandolorian Armor

Ok, I have done a few searches and not really come up with anythign recent on the jetpacks. Someone mentioned to me that Boba Fett has a new mission where you can get the jetpack from him, but Im VERY skeptical on that information. Anyone know anything about that, or what actually is required now to get the jetpack? Does anyone on our server even have one?
Next is the Mandolorian armor. I understand the wayit works, but has anythign changed recently on it or has the CU made it any less/more difficult? Who actually drops the armor parts? I saw a post about loot drops being really weak lately, is that also affecting the armor drops?

Wow.I didnt realize it was so harsh to make these pieces. Man. I guess they really did want the Mandolorian Armor to be rare. Shoulda done the same thing with Jedi...heh. Guess I will camp out the DWB and attempt to get some drops, cant hurt to try.
Do you think any of this stuff can be bought of of the Bazaar or in vendor tents? Is it a trade-able item?
Thanks for all that information, i really appreciate it. I guess Ill look on a few SWG game sites and see if there is anymore info on the jet pack. Id at least like to attempt getting that one. I will keep at it.

They are tradeable aye, we bought a few on the trade boards (for ~15mil per pop), but they appear rarely. Getting one on a vendor is even more rare..

Check under the Game Guides section on this forum. There is a guide to the death watch bunker complete with profession requirements, walkthrough videos and a map. It's an incredible guide.

The missions from fett only give you guns. As far as I know, they don't give the jetpack, base, etc. (And yes, I have completed the mission for Fett in Jabba's Palace.)
As far as I know for the jetpack and the mando parts, they have become very rare drops now. I have heard stories of people getting all the way to the overlord, but don't have the parts necessary to make even a single item.
Just before the server reset this morning, I did find a few packs of wild death watch dudes, and after killing 8 of them, got nothing but credits. So don't know if the in wild guys are dropping anything worth hunting them for.

So basically the Wild Death Watch guys have them? Where do they usually spawn at? Do the DWB enemies drop the parts as well? Ive yet to see anything drop from any of those guys, besides credits.

No, the wild DW spawns dont carry the required elements.
Death watch ghosts and wraiths inside the DWB carry the binary liquid and protective liquid coating. Both are needed for EACH piece of mandalorian armor. Alum Materials are also needed but that is a quest reward from killing the overlord. Binary liquid and the PLC each have less than 1% drop rate from the wraiths/ghosts. You could kill them for 3 months straight and never see a BL or PLC.
Also, to construct the Mando armor you need the corrosponding Bounty Hunter armor piece. Those drop off of Black Sun NPC's that are OUTSIDE the bunker.
The jetpack may be the easiest thing to craft. I havent read much into jetpack crafting because that is the last item on my list. Still working on the armor.
