Thread: Bounty Hunter Respec Petition

I propose that due to publish 20, all Players that have the bounty hunter template with at least 3xxx (as it was needed before to hunt players) should be allowed to respec their template to adjust with the possibilty to be able to kill full templated jedi. This would also dispose of the whiners that wont adjust. Please /sign below or dont post at all. I would appreciate it if you did not flame.

got your butt spanked because you couldnt pick and choose your mark? This is what you get when you abuse a game system. You chose to respec to a bh now live with it. You knew this was comming a while ago and u could have redone your template then. A real MBH will take his mark no matter what, if you havent got the skills to do it then become a dancer...which was probably what you respeced from to start with. No offense to dancers. I doubt that another respec period will be comming around for a while...its a programming nightmare.


I am a jedi alt and i agree with most MBH on this issue. If you respec we will respec, then the respec wars begin. Trust me you dont want the Jedi to have another respec period. Most havent used up the last free one.

grabs petition and tears it up, you want to be a MBH earn it. no more of this respec crap anymore. they make a change either adapt or quit. they have nerfed/changed/ proffesions for two years. deal with it adjusted and move on.

No more respecs please for any prof. Besides, its fun attaining MBH on your own.

I'll put this petition exactly where I put all the stupid Jedi Petitions everytime something is changed, in the trash. Devs gave everyone a token respec for this very reason, why did you not listen to even the Correspondents who said do not use the respec token until the devs are finished revamping the CURB? If the devs gave BH's another respec the whines on the Jedi forum will go to overdrive, then they will get another respec and pretty soon Dancers will want another one until it goes full circle back to BH for another round of respec. I vote no but that is just me.

wookieogre...did i miss the patch that just gave only Jedi the respec....hmmmm...i thought everyone got the respec...and you say it was from whining jedi?....hmmmm....you didnt even thank us for getting you another free respec...shame on you. no pudding for you.

you already have a respec. it is built into the system. its called surrender/grind/train. Good news. It can be used infinitely.

I think in the same vein that the CU altered pre-requisites so we were given respec, this patch in a sense has altered our pre-requisites so I understand the petition, but just simply don't agree with it. It seems to be the new fad at SOE to hand out double xp an respec everytime they make a mistake that requires a bandaid, but believe me, if your game is hunting jedi respec is NOT your friend.As mentioned above, it was made public weeks ago that we'd need MBH to pull jedi mission an if you were a dabbler then, your choice was either to ride your template out an no more jedi, or get working on MBH...


At any rate, assuming you were a jedi hunting billy bada$$ prior to pub20, you should have plenty of Invest saved up to out right buy the InvestigationIV box so its really only a matter of swapping a couple other skills around to adjust... Sink or swim.

pfft, they shoud have never started this respec crap. This game has gone through now 20 major changes since its beginning (launch). CU was the only time anyone was allowed to change their skills. It was the single biggest mistake that SOE ever made

I used up my token respec so it's tough luck for me. I have to grind my way up.


Those that didn't use it more power to them for being patient


Grinding up the BH trees is not difficult at all compared to grinding up my Jedi trees which I don't want no more respecs for that either.


While it does suck that they keep changing things that is forcing us to grind more but it's quite obvious that the Double XP and /respecs are causing way too much hatred and problems in the Community.


SOE's problems right now with introducing the EQ style leveling is the fact that balancing is very difficult. We can change our templates and have multiple profession combinations. So when they tweak one profession they have to look at every combination of that profession with others as well.


Compared to the other games this leveling system is trying to mimic that is not possible.
