Thread: Is Medic worth it for my template??

Hi all,

A question about my template. I am working towards MBH, MRifle, and Pistoleer xxx3 (for Imp. Stopping Shot). I have 20 points left over, and can either get MMarksman for Lethal Shot or Medic xx2x for some healing ability.

Is it even worth it to get Medic xx2x, or should I go full offense and leave thehealing to the specialists?

And another question that I just thought of - I've heard that some Novice BH's max out their BH XP before taking any boxes in Investigation so that they can aviod having to go off-planet. Is this a good strategy? Pros/Cons?

Thanks in advance for all your help (assuming I get replies, lol!)

Seeing as your template seems to be the new FOTM, I'd probably say yes it is worth itbut it is possible (if you practice a lot and I mean a lot) to survive without it.

Also remember you will need a +15 or higher healing eff shirt to compliment it.

In regards to maxing out BH XP, it is a good idea because doing mission at investigation 1 is grusome and agonizing. Even at investigation 2 it is bad, but its a little better plus I think u can get xp from PvE bases at this level. Real problem is that after investigation 2, now that you can't hunt Jedi for good BH XP, getting to investigation 3 may take a while (be sure to get inspiration buffs whenever you go hunting)

Bring back the CU or at least Pre-CU... its better that this MMO Third Person Shooter bullcrap

Personally, I enjoy having the ability to heal, its saved my bacon many times over and worth every point i have invested in medic.

Can't jam the uplinks until u hit invst 3 as far as I know(maybe wrong tho). U have to train 2 before u can get enough for 3 because it caps. The medic is definetly worth the pickup tho. Gives you basically 900+ heals with the right tapes every 5 seconds or till ur mind bar is kaput.

Wow... No replies for 40 min, and then 3 in less than 5 min! Thanks to you all!!!

Okay, I will keep the Medic - I was leaning that way anyway, so it's not a hard sell for me. And I happen to have a +16 Healing Eff shirt, so that's rather fortuitous for me.

I'm still a little confused about the XP thing - correct me if I'm wrong... I should not train Investigation until I max out on BH XP, whichwillallow me to train tolvl 2. At that point, I should lvl up as normal, and not save my XP for jumping straight to lvl 4?

And what does "jamming uplinks" mean?

Thanks once again!

If I remember, when I did BH, if you max out exp before getting investigation 1, you can get investigation 1 and 2, and a bit into 3. after that you just train up as normal.

Jamming uplink terminals involves going to a PvE or PvP base, going inside, and doing the first step involved in a base take down. Each Jammed terminal will get you 1000 exp, so if you can find 10 PvE bases in relatively close proximity to each other, you can quite easily make 10k BH exp in a very short amount of time.

Just remember, you can only jam the uplink terminal on a base once per day, so you better do it quick, because if another BH beats you to the base for the exp, you have to wait till the next day.

This is probably a really stupid question but i need to ask it. I was checking out this jammin uplink thing last nite and the turrents on this base I found were just kickin my @$$! I didn't have enough mind to outlast its health so I had a quick trip to the cloner. I was hitting for good damage but the HAM bar on it was barely scratched. It must have had like 30k HAM or something. Do just the PvP bases have these or both, and is there an easier way to take out the turrents?

Yes its worth it. Get two BE clothing mods of +17 each and you will cap Healing Effeciency.

Your heals will look like this. 1070 every 5 sec without droid Cant remember exact number but 1500+ with droid every 5 sec. Droid has 20m radius even if he is incapped. In short you will have jedi healing ability minus the infusion to help you fight. It makes a ton of difference.
