So far I've been fooling around with 3 groups of powerups,
30% dmg + 10% speed
-23% speed, -15 (approx.) acc.
-25% action cost, -15( approx) acc.
----I've found all 3 to be very usefull especially the action cost modifier, but I'm partial to massive blaster damage. Do any of you game mechanic gurus think there is a way to have as much action with foods/buffs/spice so that I can use the max damage pup.
and still maintain high action?
----I realize that blob candy/swirl/pixie/booster blue all modify action, but I don't see nearly the effect as with the action pups.
Let's hear some tested input.
Thanks,
Zaedo

I would recommend getting some more... mild... powerups, like instead of 30% damage and +10% speed, get powerups with 15% damage and 1% speed... I would like to know what kind of powerups other people use... I am semi partial to speed powerups myself

I've been using a speed pup (34% speed, -26 acc). My laser rifle has +12 accuracy so i really only get -14 accuracy, which i cover with SEAs. in long fights i always run out of action anyway, so the speed pup helps me spam ranged shot. While grinding or hunting krayts i use ranged shot more anyway, so i can save my action for emergencies. This pup gets my speed down to 1 and my mod dps up to 802. Has worked well so far....

Thanks for the input. Another question I have concerns having two or even three weapons all bearing different powerups for different uses..
..i.e. A super high dmg pupped weapon for finishing, a low action cost or speed lowering weapon for conserving action.
