Thread: Carbinner good with BH?

I have a MBH/MCarb/Pist0030 Template.
What Carb gives you, is better Control over your Opponent, because of the powerful snare, and with my template, i have a 15sec root from Pistole too. The damage difference is rather small, but what you'll miss is the range, only the DX6 has a range of 65m but less damage. Didn't fight a Jedi Post Pub19, before that, i was able to put up a fight against 175k+ Jedis.

Put up a fight you say...but can you totally own 215k+ jedi like these rifle kids say they can?

I'm MBH/Master Carbineer/ 0.4.0.4 pistoleer.
Other then being able to use cover to sneak up to your mark unnoticed, there isn't much difference.
Play with whatever template you like best. Knowing your template and being prepared will help alot more then having an extra 15M range or doing alittle more damage.

I'm MBH/MCarbs/4000 CM/3000 Combat Prowess.
I don't really like spending that third block's SP into Root, since I know the Jedi will just heal up any damage I do to him while rooted. However, when you can heal half your health in a low-cost and low-timer Bacta Shot, that's a great advantage.
Meanwhile, MCarbs gives a lot of damaging weapons and pretty nice specials. It's also long range enough to keep you kiting, and the speed > than rifles.

I keep hearing all this talk about rifleman skills being excellent with MBH for jedi hunting but what about with carbines? I've been a carbineer since the beginning, and when the respec stuff came around i traded master carbineer for master rifleman, and got my ass wooped by most jedi. I didn't like using rifles to hunt jedi because I missed a lot, and once the jedi got close I was owned. Although it could have been because I wasnt using armor and my rifle had a DPS around 260. So I switched back to master carbineer but I don't know if that was such a great idea.
Are there any carbineer/BH hybrids that do well and would like to share info about what kind of tactics to use when hunting jedi?
