Thread: What a difference between the old jedi and the new.

I read the jedi forums and also listen to the jedi in my guild on ts. Even my own guild jedi hate me and others in our guild who are bh. It seems only the new and just completed templates feel that way, the older jedi don't. Another thing is a big battle on the jedi forums and on our ts between the old jedi and the new is over the frs. The old jedi want knights to be perm overt where the new jedi don't want perm overt because they do not want to have to pvp other jedi.

This is why i hate the new jedi so much. They want everthing easy with no risk but at the same time want to be walking i win buttons. I listen to them all the time complain about how they can't beat a bh. When the older jedi tell them to learn how to pvp a huge fight starts. Ihad and haveno prob with 90% of the older jedi. The newer jedi i have a prob with 90%. They just get under my skin.

Sorry for my rant. I am a BH and i know if i had put this in the jedi forum it would get deleted very fast.

I call it "The Plague".

Every multiplayer game is hit by that at some point. CS-kiddies, the new Jedi generation - what's the difference? The Plague is usually caused by big marketing campaings or the game getting too popular which leads to a massive influx of new players who want to be better, tougher and l33t3r than everybody else.

The problem is, there is no real "cure". Sure you can swing the nerf bat but that's the equivalent of burning down parts of an infected city (might work though).

Keep your hands clean and avoid any contact with infected people closer than blaster range and we might get through this.

What about when you said

That would be a generalization. Glad to hear you don't hate me though. I am just trying to help you get your point accross without winding up in a huge flame fest. Its like when people say respec BH don't know how to hunt jedi blah blah blah. Bottom line is there have ALWAYS been complainers on BOTH sides. It is not new people to these professions that ruin them or cause all the flaming. I do agree though ALOT of people want an I win or to be uber instead of having to work at pvp.

Oh btw I am a respec bh too

I definetely do not respect the post hologrind, and post cu jedi. I had to grind out 29 professions and believe me when you have to work it took a very long time. The post hologrind jedi could do one quest every 3 weeks and grind with grenades for 2 days out of every 3 weeks totaling a whopping 12 days of grinding to get padawan. Also when you made jedi, bounty hunters were to be respected and feared because if they did not like you, they could always bring their friends along for 20 on 1 group tefing action This is also not mentioning that the bh's before the CU were more powerful than the bh's now. A TKM/BH when played right could kill quite a bit of the pre cu knights if they were unlucky.

The new jedi finished their templates in 3 million exp that was 6 million because of double exp and the respec system. This is why I kill every post cu jedi, rebel or imp.

I am a walking I win button!!!! After grinding 32 professions, being stuck doing the paddy trials due to the patch nine crap, and another 8 months of boring grinding, I finally got to a full template. i can usually deal with anything that comes my way now in terms of PvP and BHes. some times I screwup and die fairly fast, but thats no biggy.

All the old school jedi were forced to take the time to learn their templates put up with a unbalanced combat system and the BHes that hunted them within it. Post CU any old school jedi who has weathereed all the changes out own the battle field. Healing nerf or no they will still rip any player a new one quick.

I understand why the old school jedi hate the new comers to the jedi prof. Combat for every one hasn't been more balanced then now and they are still screaming like babies that their too week. hell the jedi melee hybrid is by far more dangerous then a full template jedi ATM. All the new paddies just need to get out there and PvP to figure out whats up. Those that hide away scared to confront that BH just want an I win button even more. There not even gonna get close unless they practice their PvP skills.

you are NOT a walking I win button, if youwere then you would not ever die lol. Anyway I agree that people of ALL profs need to learn their prof to be good. BUt you are saying ALL new jedi are crying they are too weak which is not true. I don't think i am too weak at all, but then again I have been a long time pistoleer and also a CH so I know what its like to be weak lol.

Oh and the old holo grind days were much easier FOR ME to grind that the retarded a$$ village. Wow you ground out 32 profs ok well I ground out millions upon millions of xp to get threw the village lol. The grass is always greener on the other side, but I did half my grind (3 FS trees) in the holo grind and the other half in the village so I know what both are like.

Its so funny cause people act like there was no problem with jedi until now lol. Yep it is just the new jedi/respec bh at fault here. So wait what have jedi and BH been fighting about for the last year+ ? ROFL.

I hate you too

And I think it has alot to do with what was said before... previous Jedis have had to deal with alot of stuff that the new ones dont, can we say Permadeath? Also Ive noticed that alot of new jedis (I said alot, not all) have never PvP'd before so getting killed by another player takes them by surprised, they are shocked and confused, then take things personally.

Again I agree. Just like alot of new BHs have not pvped enough and are getting handled by the bucket load. These are the real people complaining on both sides. It has nothing to do with when they became a jed/BH, it has to do with them getting owned and they thought they would be uber and are now made.
