Thread: My first Jedi Kill Ever!

Ok well with the dbl xp I decided to grind like no one had grinded before. I managed to gain a crap load of XP and finally made myself high enough up the BH tree to go Jedi Hunting and have some nice combat skills to go with it.
So here is how it went. I figure since I am still not a very experienced player at hunting and that my CL is still not what it should be, I would go for some lower level jedi.
I managed to find a jedi on the terms and searched him out and found him on Dant. I tracked him down and found that he was in his house. I waited for about 10 minutes but decided this one was not going to be the one. I ended up finding another mission shortly after that, on Tatooine. But alas, this one was also sitting in his home.
After a bit of wandering around and buying some more droids, I found another on the terms. I tracked him down to Dantooine and I spotted him killing some large bols. I decided to go under cover and get into range. After getting in range I noticed that even though the mission payout for this guy was low (94k), he was CL73. I decided to risk it anyway and went after him. I fired a KD shot but missed. I fired a head shot and it hit hard. Turns out the guy was a TKA so when he managed to close the distance with me, he kicked my butt into oblivion. I ended up waking up in the cloners. I messaged him letting him know he was a good fighter and I hoped we would do battle again some day. He seemed very friendly in this chat so I had no hard feelings.
After recovering from my wounds I decided that one bad hunt wouldnt get me down so I would try again. I found another small target. This one was a 64k payout. A little small but I figured this would be a good first kill. I tracked the target down to Tatooine. When I caught up with him, he was Bantha hunting with several other friends. I saw that he was the same CL as me so I thought that this would be a good fight.
Oh NO! I was spotted by one of his friends. I pretended to drive away as if I was doing another mission of some kind. I thought I went far enough away but one of his friends followed me. Since I had gone under cover he discovered my ruse. I waved goodbye and pretended to leave. I then decided to flank them and came in totally under cover. I manged to crawl into range and fired a KD shot. Bulls-eye! I then fired a sniper shot and followed with a headshot. I incapped him! I ran to DB him but he was to far. He managed to get up, heal, and run into a nearby safehouse. I messaged him letting him know I had quit the mission and he could continue hunting. After all I didnt want to sit in front of a house all day long. After a chat with him I discovered that he was -226k in the hole so I left him and figure I wont go after him for a while. He had said that he had been killed 3 times in recent days so I kinda felt bad because of all that XP he had lost.
After knowing that I could deal some damage in a fight, I decided to to find yet another mission on the terms. I found a 110k payout this time. Since my last two payouts had not been very accurate in relation to their CL I wasnt sure about this one. I managed to track him down on Dantooine. When I got there, him and about 5 others were fighting some tought creatures. I also noticed that he was about the same CL as myself as well. At this point a major advantage opened up to me. It looks like he was the tank of the group. He was taking serious damage from the mobs. I managed to quickly close in without having to go into cover. They were to preoccupied with their fight to see me coming. He was down to 1/4 health when I came into range. I did a KD shot and followed it with a headshot. It seemed like the KD almost killed him and the headshot incapped him for long time. I ran up and tried to DB him but he warped. I tried again and was successful! I felt very lucky that I didnt have to triple incap him. I think my HS hit him so hard that his incap timers was probably about 20+ seconds.
That was the first story of my first day Jedi Hunting and also my first Jedi Kill Ever.
On a side note, I accepted 7 jedi missions today in total and only two were on Kashyyyk. The other 5 are in the above story. I hope this isnt just a streak of good luck. Maybe it is because I am on a smaller server or something? Also it seemed that the jedi I did do battle with were very curtious and didnt complain. No nasty hate tells or anything.
