I am considering my next career path and I am debating between smuggler and bounty hunterbut before I make my decision I was curious about how difficult the marks are to kill. I've seen several threads on how hard they are to find but not to kill. So I'm guessing they are not that difficult. Point being, if it takes an average of 45 minutes to do aBH mission and buffs last 2.5 to 3.0 hours that is 3 to 4 missions per buff. Do most of you repeatedly buff or can missions be done unbuffed? I am more than willing to move my stats around again to optimize performance, if that means I can do missions unbuffed.
I am a ranger right now with 3/0/0/4 pistoleer and I would like to finish off the scout professions but my bank account is a little low (read I'm broke) so I would like to go for a profession that will increase my cash flow rather than drain my bank account. Plus, the problem of finding doctors to buff me is always a factor in the time I can spend actually doing whatever it is I'm doing. Most daysthere is only one doctor buffing, if any at all, which means a long wait in line and another 6 to 10k spent, throw in interplanitary travel and this seems likeit couldend up being fairly expensive not to mention atime consuming, profession. At most I get to play 4 hours a day and I don't want to get bogged down in a profession that will take a couple months to complete, but this is my last profession off of scout, excpet squad leader, if I do it now then I won't ever have to go back to scout again. What to do, what to do.

i always get buffed and wear a suit of composite before i go and take out a mark. they usually have like 9000 ham 20% resists with one or two 50% resists so I have never taken one when i was unbuffed. muon is good to take for a mark too.

Marks a super easy with all you BH skills, no buffs or armour required. dizzy+KD then finish with whatever suits you. I had my HAM equalized so I had no specific weakness. With you pistoleer skills you can at least use the bleed and run, I think you have a KD but not sure about dizzy but you could you marksman skills.

I myself never get buffed to do NCP missions, only time Ill buff is if I see a jedi miss I think is there, I'll take the jedi miss and catch a quik buff in coronet on my way to "dance" with my jedi miss. NCP marks are really easy even unbuffed, I have nov medic so I have stim-b's just in case but for the most part never had to use them.
