Thread: Wow. My first grief.

The general jedi'sresponse to avoid "runners" that I get is to...Hunt Higher Marks. Ok, I really don't have a problem with that.
Today, I grab a 221ker, find him at jabba's palace dicking around with his friends, engage him, drain his force...he runs...I catch up to him...BAM FORCE CLOAK. So i follow him around with my targeting macro while he does this crap for about 10 minutes. Finally he returns to the shuttle/space thing by jabbas palace, and disappears with his friends.
Oh so hypocritical the jedi are. What a waste of time and a big let down. His reason for running was "good duel, i ran out of force", I guess that gives him the right to run under force cloak forever, and ever, ever, and then while cloaked, stop and accept a ride from his buddies to go into space. I LOVE IT!
Case in point:
1) Jedi suck
2) Jedi suck
3) Do something with force cloak and do not allow them to accept rides into space while being attacked, Oh wait, he was force cloaked so long that the combat music even turned off, I guess it was ok for him to go into space then right? ... !@#$ ME!

Nope...afraid not. This Jedi had every right to "escape". After five minutes from the Jedi(s) LAST attack, the Jedi SHOULD not have a TEF anymore....thus able to launch into space.

Okay, this was one case, but not every full template Jedi will run from you. Go grab another mission.
Other than that, quit cryin'.

I LOVE IT! Yes it damn does give him the right to run under force cloak forever...Your just not accepting the fact that you lost the fight because the Jedi did what he was suppost to...GET AWAY/LIVE. He can do anything he needs to get away and you can't do a thing about it...(Non exploits) Instead of getting a ride to space he could have just ran away or logged out. So there is no reason for this post. Beside the Space thing..but he still could have logged out.

he didnt grief you... do you even know what griefing is?
sounds to me like you didnt win. dont come here crying if you dont kill a jedi quick enough. if a jedi is out of force and you dont kill him then there is somethin wrong with that. i suggest you get better weapons and tactics.

hey guess what. I DIDNT SAY HE LOST. i said he didnt win. there is a difference. fully read and comprehend the post before you try to correct someone. now its your turn to "st.fu"

"he Lost" and "Didnt Win" Theres a difference, yes. But to the agressive context you were using, no. I love it how theres more jedi using the BH forums then even BH's themselves.

Ok, next time you get ready to fight a Jedi, why don't you just send him a /tell saying "You are my content, now bend over and brace yourself".
Jedi lose hours of grinding time everytime a bounty hunter kills them. I'm one of those jedi that don't necessarily mind this, but I can't stand to listen to a BH whine about how a Jedi used an exploit to escape from him while the hunter was using an exploit to keep him from running away.
If you weren't exploiting the targeting bug, you would have lost him when he cloaked and that would have been the end of the story.

a) Nobody was griefing you. The Jedi used the skills he spent his skill points in to escape from you.
b) Now you know that Jedi has Force Cloak. Stay within 20m of him and he cannot cloak. This will of course keep you inside his Saber Throw / Force Throw / Force Suppression / whatever range.
