With further reduction in force costs for force wielder .. my bh/cm had the experience of standing over a cloaked jedi throwing poison, fire, and disease (the latter is totally broken right now) and keeping his health atnear 1 -full time. I watchedhis action and mind bars with /targetabout 1 time per minute he'd channel force resulting in the dropping of the bars for about 10-20 seconds ... they'd fully recharge and you could also watch the 300 or so points on health recharge back up .. right when it hit about 3k health boom he'd do it again. We stood like this for more than 1 hour .. there was no sign of letup. This is crazy - no way it was intended perma invisibility??

SOE what were you thinking?

It wasn't intended for the /target command to work and certainly wasn't intended for DOTs to be applied while the jedi is cloaked ...

So to your questions it doesn't matter as you shouldn't be able to do this...

Cloak is a fun skill which is only half working , it costs a lot of points for the dabblers and force does get used up very quickly in populated areas...

SOE was thinking that they would give the jedi another option to fighting , and that is to escape. Which is perfectly leagal..

I have seen plenty of cloaked jedi get killed with the right tactics..

its a bug that you can do damage to a cloaked jedi with CM skillsin the first place man, and if he had meditate it would be even easyer to do that! not every Jedi has cloak but the ones that do its somthing you gota deal with just like anything else! some BH temps are better than others and thats somthing we have to deal with its all about how the 2 skill sets mach up in a fight! and not all are fights will be the same.

ANY ability that can be spammed perpetually during combat goes counter to what we were told the CU was all supposed to accomplish.

He wasn't continually spamming channel according to the OP.

When he needed force, he would channel some.

"Continually Spamming" channel gets you real dead real quick, because it diminishes your health pool.

I play both a Bh and a Jedi, and it goes both ways...

I also find it wrong that a BH/ mSmugglar can perma roots me from 80m away....stopping shot, and improved concussion shot can be used indefinatly......

THE ONLY def a jedi has, its to cloak....however, smart BH can always beat a JEDI and prevent cloaking. **coughDroidCough**

since i play both BH and jedi, i know they both have weaknesses, and trust me, BH have it far easier then jedi after the healing nerf on jedi, BH just have to be intuitive.

BH have the option of switching templates fast to modify there tactics

a jedi WILL ALMOT NEVER drop his jedi skills for a regular proff skills, and IF he changed his jedi temp, its a VERY long grind....

/tissue?
concussion is being nerfed in next publish...and if you have MDEF, setting up an aura/heal/whatever macro isnt that hard. BH won't be able to kill you without a ton of luck...they can spend an hour shooting at the jedi and nothing.

not true, i play a master defender, and my BH alt, cant hurt him. i use a aura macro, but like i said before, if your 80m away, u can keep them perma rooted. it will get nerfed in the next 2 publishes. it wont get fixed will 21 maybe 22.

that is where BH are flawed.....i good BH does not target a jedi's health, but rather makes him waste his force faster....

a jedi can only survive with force...learn what skills use more force, and when a jedi is likly to use them, and all u gotta do is trick him into healing, or trying to cloak ext...kite him....if he runs, eat parwen cake.

cloak is counter by pets. ( keep in mind a smart jedi will attack ur pet, so make a macro to call him to you, and then follow again,, its better to do it manually, so u can keep him within 20m of the jedi, without letting him hit it...since jedi should be rooted, and ur auto fireing, its not hard...)

one thing that makes jedi hard, and i do agree needs a fix, is running into houses. HOWEVER, if/when that gets fixed, i suggest they fix 5 on 1 ganks too, that is unfair by any standards....

If a BH argues that jedi re too hard with one on one, then i suggest a accuarcy vs jedi skill mod for MBH, that will make them easier to hit, and hit harder....( alot of testing first on TC, as i am sure devs will fubar this idea if they ever try it.)

So Jedi cloak is counter by telling a pet to follow your mark and then calling him back before the pet gets into the range of the Jedi?

Well, assuming you have friends, why didn't you call some over to stand by him? Seriously, 1 person standing next to a cloaked person is almost nothing in Force cost. Call pets, bikes, friends, w/e over and make that Force cost really hurt him.

the /target command was intended to work, what was not intended was the use of cloak to escape combat...it was designed for engagement, they have not yet coded the 1 min cooldown after combat is over, until it is able to be used again....yet
