I have two accounts one being a MBH the other was Rifle/CM, so I had a few spare SP's left and decided to pick up novice BH to see what the difference in loot was.

From 10 missions on each character:

Master gave me 300k in cash or there abouts plus about 5k from loot.

1 CA, 5 ICB's and a couple of other t1tbits RIS and Valley view paintings. That was from normal to silver chevron marks. I couldn't take on the Gold ones.

Novice gave me 150k in cash from missions and around 10k from the loot.

3 Schematics, 2 ICB's 3 other smuggler bits and a jar of bugs.

Now the master was taking on level 80-82 marks and the Novice was taking on level 70-80, both had theere share of boss marks yet the Novice could quite easily take out both silver and gold chevroned, the Master only the silver chevroned. The novice although only taking 15k missions as opposed to the master doing 30k missions took a lot less time to complete his, due to all the marks being on the same planet. As a rough estimate I would say that the novice can do 3 or 4 missions to every 2 the master can do, so from a time prospective the novice will both earn more and gain more loot.

My conclusion is that the novice gets the better deal out of all this.

Please discuss and comment with your thoughts, and yes a bit more exploration of this matter needs to be done.

See...this is disturbing. I have a MBH alt that I have been running all weekend, and learning that a Novice BH can pull the same loot isn't good news.

Why?

If I have little interest in running player Jedi missions, I could easily spend the skill points in other professions and dabble much more..maybe in CM or cherry pick some specials out of Pistoleer and Carbineer as well.

I originally assumed (my mistake) that the Master BH would have the best chance at the best loot...if not, the amount of FOTM Novices to pull loot will ruin it.
